chapter 43:sucking of face

it had been a couple of days since jakes match and the dates for the next game were out 5th November was the match for the female semi-finals and the 8th of November semi-finals for the men's team, also the day Jae will get her cast off 

the team had been training well under jake once again and Jae made sure to accompany him every day for practice making sure he doesn't lose his mind and yell like a Tarzan 

uh oh 

sera being the team's captain had to come for practice early too at 4:15 in the morning so it was obvious that she was suspicious about why did Jae come with him, she made up a reason that she liked waking up in the morning and coming to the field, the smell of grass calmed her down she said 

not today, it was the 19th of October and sera called in sick, she texted him that she had a stomach infection and that she was prescribed to rest for 3 days, she didn't get slipped away with it very easily, sera had to hear a 1000 taunts from him because she couldn't control her urge to eat fast food. well in the end he just told her to be at home and it's ok if she didn't come today 

it was 4:30 am and jake was sitting on the field with his legs freely spread according to his comfort and was speaking to Jae who was on one of the seats just outside the field 

"well today I have my physical therapy so from 7 to 8 I'll be there and before that, I will be going to the library, what are your plans?" she asked him after discussing her day 

he looked up to her "I guess I'll be in the university library after classes and then from 5:30 to 7 I have practice with my team and then I'll go home freshen up a bit and then come to pick you up from the clinic" 

she facepalmed and spoke "you arent my driver" 

"hey who said I'm coming in my car, I will come and fetch you walking and then we'll walk back together, you need to start walking you've put on weight" he teased her 

Jae took her crutches from beside her and raised them in the air aiming at him "wanna say that again perhaps?" 

he widened his eyes and surrendered his hands in the air "I'm sorry I'm sorry" she put the crutches down and looked at him softly 

"what" he looked back at her 

she placed her hands on the seat helped herself and stood up on one leg 

"Jae be careful sit down" he yelled softly and just looked at what was she doing, she hopped on one of her legs and made her way to him making him look straight up at her "Jae what do you think you are--" 

he got cut off when she wrapped her arms around his neck and slowly wrapped her leg around his torso, his forearms went to support her butt or else she would be in discomfort 

"Jae what's wrong?" he patted her head and played with her hair 

she hummed softly "nothing, I just wanna play soccer again with you, I wanna go swimming too but I seriously don't know when, they said that my cast will be off on the 8th of November but then what if I need more therapy for the leg? what if I won't be able to play this season at all" she spoke out her worries to him "and you know seeing my parents home like that in turns is just so weird because they work the entire day together or the night but they are together, never apart but now because of me they need to take turns in taking care of me" 

jake brushed his hand through her hair and sighed "you do know that you are their only child and you also know that you were always trying to be independent without them, you didn't want one of them to leave work for you and now that they have you're just too conscious about it. You are their lovely daughter and now they are finally getting a chance to take proper care of you so give it some time, I'm sure you will crib later that they don't have time for you" he ended it with a little chuckle
