chapter 37:rest

it had been a few days since jake's 4th match and the male teams next match schedule was on the 17th of October 

the two had relatively started talking a lot to each other and shared their childhood stories and a few other memories they had with their friends, there was a week left for Jae's match but they were consistent in training properly in the morning 

tho they did fool around before the entire team could join them 

so here they were, fooling around again at 4:30 in the morning

"ahh stop hugging me that's hurting now" she whined while walking with his arms around her 

he teased her and spoke in the same whiny tone as hers "no I won't stop"

she whined back "but its hurting" 

he kissed her head and she looked at him with a frown "aw is my baby made at me" he took his face close to hers 

"ew don't call me that, I have a pretty name and its Jae call me that" 

"ok so baby it is" 

"UGH" she yelled and got out of his grasp "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN" she yelled at a distance from him 

"HERE I COME BABY" 

they yelled and giggled and had their arms around each other, not wanting to let go

"so how was your morning" hitting Jae's shoulder minji asked 

"filled with my boyfriends' cuddles" Jae replied making her jealous 

minji looked at her in disgust "I thought you were the wild ones"

"oh come on everyone wants a soft fluff kinda things, but yea wild stuff comes in too but that's just I'm shy to tell" Jae tied up her hair and looked away 

minji went on to tease her "ayee Byun Jae is flustered" 

"you just wait until you have a boyfriend, its not just all cute stuff and wild stuff, we did fight once I mean just because we are dating now doesn't mean we throw away our previous life and our fights from then, but yea only once," Jae said as they walked out of the locker room and saw semi and iseul laughing and chatting and doing their warm-ups 

"Are you sure they are just friends?"

"I guess" minji gave Jae a look 

"lol let's go," Jae said and they went on for today's practice 

It had been 1 whole hour and it was around 6:30 in the morning and they were done with all sorts of warm-ups and once again he decided to do something fun for the day

"ok so today the substitutes and the main team will mix and we'll play a match and the losing team will treat everyone ice creams" jake clapped his hands and grabbed everyone's attention 

"damn he is changing every day, I am sure he has some sort of personality disorder" confused by the sudden enthusiasm of jake in the team semi spoke 

Jae looked at her and wanted to rip off her jersey but then she realized that semi doesn't know that he is now on the good side so she just spoke out "I mean he is trying to be better" 

semi looked at her and laughed "lol look at who is siding jake" 

"STOP TALKING PLEASE" he announced waiting for everyone to form lines "ok please stand in two lines and I need two captains, it's ok if one of the captains isn't Jae" he mentioned as all of them were forming their lines
