"WE'LL BE CLIMBING THE HILL TODAY SO IF ANY OF YOU ACT SMART AND GO FROM ANOTHER WAY WE'LL MAKE SURE YOU DONT RETURN TO COLLEGE ATLEAST FOR A MONTH AND THIS TREKK WILL TAKE US 5 HOURS IF ANYONE HAS TO PEE PLEASE USE THE RESTROOM RIGHT AWAY OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE TO ATTEND YOUR NATURE'S CALL IN THE NATURE" the professor yelled out the instruction once again
the lot started to trek the hill that was more like a mountain and within 3 hours their energy was on the verge of exploding into pieces
but the athletes of the class were quite active and especially the soccer girls were not tired no they weren't and easily they maintained their lead with some other boys who were a part of the other sports activities
"Are they made of paper?" Jae laughed while placing her trekking stick before her and climbing up
"Not everyone is like us you know" semi replied and Jae spoke
"well I must say this was the one bit the coach made us do the best by making us physically strong"
"ouuu looks like Jae appreciates jake now" minji butted in to tease her
"oh shut up"
and finally, after 5 hours, they reached the highest place of the mountain and the whole class of the first years sat and took a breath of relief
"don't tell me we have to go all way down again, its 2 in the afternoon and I am hungry" a classmate of theirs ranted
"I just bought some chips" semi said wiping her sweat
"I bought my ice cream and I bought 2 one is for iseul and one ice cream is for me," Jae said getting her legendary tiny icebox
"aww you bought the icebox here too?" minji said while adoring the tiny little icebox Jae always carries in her bag
"But what's with you giving an ice cream to iseul?" semi asked her
"well you know when she was once on her red days and I helped her out? since then we share ice creams every day lol I guess I didn't tell y'all," Jae said embarrassed of her memory
"well bitch keep 2 more in that coz we wanna eat some ice cream two" minji slapped her arm
"bitch it's a small icebox, not a big ice factory, hardly two fit in but ok"

after the 10 hour strenuous trek they washed up their selves and plopped on their beddings along with sera
"Jae I think I'll snore today" sera exclaimed to her
"sure get ready to be burned tonight" tired Byun Jae responded

after Jae spoke no one did because due to the exhaustion caused by the trek
it was past midnight and Jae suddenly woke up and grabbed her phone to see it was 12:05, she rubbed her eyes a bit and got up, she was in her Pikachu shorts and a t-shirt of the same
she zipped open her tent to see the bonfire still burning and the entire place pin drop silence, she started walking to the place she was curious about since the day they came here

she walked to where it was and as expected no one was there
she walked next to it and it looked really pretty with the moonlight falling on the little waves of water, sitting on the edge of the ground and dipping her legs in she felt the cold water make her regret what she did but she is Jae, and she doesn't care
leaving a sigh she played with the water with her legs
"wasn't it told to you that you aren't supposed to go in the lake?"
it was his voice, she heard him after more than a day that almost felt like a zillion years

"I am not in the water" she exclaimed as she lifted her head and tilted to where his voice was coming from
"your legs are," he said and walked to her and sat right next to her with their thighs touching and his legs dipped in the water too
"it's cold," he said while looking ahead
"I know that"
"I meant it for the water"
"I know that coach"
"How were your days? yesterday and today" he gently asked her still with no signs of softness in his voice
"I got a hundred potatoes and trekked for 10 hours that surely made my legs make them wanna break up with my body"
"I planted the seeds of mango trees in almost 75 acres of land not alone but yea and then after that I even trekked for a lot of time sheesh" he shared his part of the story
"I didn't ask"
"But I never said it to you" he played it smart
"sheesh don't irritate me now, from Tuesday as it is you'll torture us"
"you have enough stamina to at least survive the day, your professors told me that the football team were the first ones to finish and were always on the lead that too ahead from the boys" he looked at her
"I told you don't irritate me" she looked back into his eyes
like always they just stared at each other with their feet in the lake the moonlight falling on the water, just like those scenes of the drawing children first make they didn't pull away but fixed their eyes on each other
he placed his hand on her thigh right where her shorts were but she didn't budge because she knew that he wasn't that stupid to get drowned by her right here, and he knew that she could do it
"I am sleepy now," Jae said and removed his hand from her thigh and got up and immediately shivered because of the sudden attack of the cold put slipped into her slippers and looked back at him
"go in your tent now or else the crocodiles in the lake might eat you up," she said and he looked back at her

and there, with her back facing him, she finally could widen her eyes and lost her mind. She was now officially exposed. almost stomping her feet she brisk walked to her tent leaving her coach in fits of laughter that didn't reach her ears
she didn't listen to the giggles and laughs of him
but for sure she knew,
one day she will kill him for this first-hand embarrassment
