"The semi-naked girl with long dark brown hair?" he then cut me off as I was left in astonishment.

"How— did you saw her body? What the fuck man."

Tang ina naman. Nakakabad trip tong mga taong to. Hoy! Taken na ang babaeng yun!

"No, I didn't. but one of my co-workers did." He replied "The both of you for some reason was swept by the tide on this hidden facility."

He looked at me and smiled as he offered me his water bottle.

"I don't know who you are but we cannot let civilians die inside this facility." He said and threw the bottle onto my hands and started to walk.

He then smiled at me as if he trusts me. This. Is. Weird. Whats with that smile seriously. EAF people are weirdoes.

"Don't worry, that water is safe. You seemed to be dehydrated or even tired of accidentally drinking salt water. So have a sip and follow me." he advised.

For some reason, I ended up lowering my guard and opening the water bottle and start drinking it. I felt my bare feet do some steps to follow him.

The said man was strangely odd for some reasons. I felt his familiar presence. Pakiramdam ko Nakita ko na siya kung saan.

Or epekto lang to ng paglagok ng tubig dagat. Lol.

As I follow him, kapansin pansin ang lumang-lumang mga dingding sa hallway. Some of them developed large cracks to the point they looked unfixable. The whole hallway was still lit with old, but still functioning white fluorescent lamps.

Tanging ang mga magagaan na yapak namin ang naririnig sa buong hallway.

"Wh..what is this place tho? You mentioned to me that this was an old research facility?" I unhesitatingly asked and took another gulp of the water.

"Yes it was. The EAF used this hidden facility to store research materials that had been used or sealed away after conducting research. This is also a place where they dump used specimens as well." He answered.

So much for EAF's secret bases and facilities. Hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit sa isang tagong lugar nilang naiisipang itapon lahat ng research debris nila.

"Where are we going tho? And who are you even?" I asked but kept on following him for some reasons.

He then looked onto me nang ma realize kong nakarating kami sa isang makitid na pinto. It was a partially opened steel door. Mukhang pinaglumaan na husto ng panahon to the point that it was full of rust and even moss.

He then stood on the side of the door and offered my turn to come inside.

"I'm a Royal Guard tasked by the EAF to guard this facility." He calmly said as he smiled onto me. Weirdo.

What an irony since both of my feet didn't even hesitate to back off. Dahan dahan akong lumakad patungo sa loob.

My eyes were amazed as I saw a huge empty facility with a gigantic glass dome that serves as its roof. You cannot really appreciate the beauty of the ocean since it might be night time already outside.

But the glass dome clearly withstood the test of forces of nature and as well as time. My bare feet can still feel the fine grains of sand rubbing as I walk.

Napalingon ako as I heard the flipping of the main switch mula sa likod. The said weirdo just stood there and looked up, causing me to also raise my head up.
