Newt- Babysit

"Ok, you just need to look after her for a few hours" Y/n explained.

"I'm not sure that's such a good idea love" I protested.

"Newt, you'll be fine, I asked Thomas and Minho to help, she's just a baby"

She bounced Harriet in her arms as she chewed on her fist. She handed her over to me, and I took her hesitantly.

She opened the door to see Thomas and Minho there about to knock.

"Oh, hi" She smiled " You guys have fun"

She left us alone with little Harriet drooling. As soon as Y/n left she stared crying.

"Oh bloody hell" I sighed.

"Come on Harriet, come see uncle Minho" Minho cooed.

She just cried harder, kicking her legs and screaming.

"Maybe we should try feeding her?" Thomas suggested.

"Really Tommy, do I look like Y/n?"

"What about trying to get her to sleep?" Minho said.

I took her over to her cot and put her in, giving her her dummy and blanket. She instantly started to drift off to sleep.

"Thank god" I said in relief.

"What now?" Thomas asked.

"I guess we could just relax now"

We all sat and talked for a while, having some drinks. Everything was going fine, until I decided to check on Harriet.

"I'm just gonna check on her real quick" I said.

I went into our bedroom to check on her, but the ckt was empty.

"THOMAS! MINHO!" I ran into the sitting room.

"What?" They asked.

"She's gone!"

"She's what?!" Minho jumped up.

"She's gone, I went to check on her and she wasn't there"

"Oh my god we have to find her" Thomas panicked.

"Get looking!"

We all searched around for Harriet. If Y/n came back and Harriet wasn't there, she would freak out.

"Newt, I found her!"Thomas held her up " She was hiding in the cupboard"

"Oh you" I took hold of her " bad girl"

"I'm back" Y/n came in " Did you guys have fun?was everything ok?"

"Uhh yeah, it was fine"

A/n: I think Harriet is the resident baby name now 😂
