008 - Trek

"I hope you've eaten well CEO Kim" I asked him as he nodded while filling his mouth with another bite. No, nothing fancy just normal breakfast. We do have a variety though.

Bread with butter/jam, korean pancakes, egg rice, egg bread, soup, bimibap and some side dishes. Milk and orange juice as the beverage, simple but delicious.

"Are we all ready?" I asked watching the others preparing. Jimin and Yeonjun bringing the bags outside, Namjoon guiding them and the others. Meanwhile, I am making sure he eats well. Kinda funny.

We'll leave for the forest area, not too far but can be tiring by walking distance. "Let's go" CEO Kim said while standing up, "Where's you bag?" I asked as he directions at Jimin.

"We're set then".

...

"So, we're gonna have a jungle walk aren't we?" Jimin asked excitedly as I nodded. Everything is going as planned, the place is beautiful enough to be explored and adored by us.

Many different named rivers too rest here, it'll be evening time after we will be done taking pictures and stuff. We'll then camp some tents, ofcourse to shelter our stuff for a few hours till the bonfire preparations and bonfire is done. Around midnight we'll head back.

It's mid afternoon, sun is shining bright, still it isn't too hot. Cool breeze swiftly flowing, beautiful petals moving slowly. Different coloured insects - especially butterflies flowing past me.

"I brought my new camera, only for you all, Hyung" Jun commented as we started our journey. We devided ourselves in three groups. As for ours, it's me, CEO Kim, Jimin, Yeonjun and Namjoon.

We started our trek. Different kinds of flowers, which were really attractive and pretty I say, dominated the area. Beautiful butterflies, different kind of insects - which surely didn't seem scary at all
Birds chirping and flying, everything is really beautiful.

As we proceed further, the place gets cooler, shadier and darker. "This Is really great isn't it" Jimin commented. I opened up the map of this area, a local map I brought before arriving here. The thing bothering me is that we are supposed to reach a certain destination spot where the three paths meet opening into the famous rivers flowing here.

We've been trekking since a few hours, not that anyone is bored or something. We do have Jimin and Yeonjun with us, can we get bored? Ofcourse not. Their hilarious jokes, taunting, stories and the best part was Jimin singing - his voice suits very well.

All of them look so happy. Even though CEO Kim did not participate, he looks happy and that's what matters.

It was really difficult to adjust with him at first but he beforehand gave us a speech on not to feel uncomfortable around him and share or speak whatever we wanted.

Jimin and Yeonjun took it really seriously.

"I'm tired Seokjin" Jimin said as we all agreed. I spread the floor mat I kept in Jimin's bag on the ground, we all sat down. I placed out the sandwiches, bimibap, crackers, snacks and sweets along with some juice cans.

We've been travelling for much of time, I genuinely feel that we all enjoyed it. But at the same time, I now feel that we might've lost our way. We should've reached the destination spot fourty minutes earlier, but me not wanting to ruin the perfect mood decided to figure it out myself.

I guess I now have to reveal it.

"I liked the sandwiches, you made them Jin" CEO Kim asked politely as Jimin glared at me, I responded by nodding my head.

...

"Seokjin, isn't it taking us too long. It's evening time, shouldn't we have reached the place by now?" Jimin asked as I gulped nervously.

"I feel like" I said taking a pause "We're lost". Jimin cracked up. So did Yeonjun. I'm not joking babe-
"That was funny okay but tell the real matter now. It's getting kinda creepy now. The forest gets deeper and deeper as we proceed. I like this place really much but I feel like resting around a beautiful river now" .

I kinda feel guilty. The moment I reveal this, all their enthusiasm will go down. The worst thing is they won't blame me. I don't really want to ruin this perfect moment.

"Im not j-joking Min" I muttered as everyone had a mix of reactions. "Seokjin" Jimin said in a commanding tone. "I-I am sorry, I being the wrong map here. The compass doesn't work either" I responded looking down.

"Wha-For real?" I nodded. Jimin sighed in disappointment. "What about the phones" Yeonjun asked eagerly. "No network" I responded.

Wow! I've done a great job ruining the trip.

"I feel like, it'll rain now or soon" Namjoon said as we all looked up at the sky. The weather was clear, infact very clear just minutes ago. Even the weather forecast predicted today's sky to be 100% clear. So why is this happening?

"Hyung, what should we do now" Yeonjun asked. I don't know what to do. I can not reply this to him though. "Let's go in pairs and find out" CEO Kim commented breaking the serious silence.

"What if one of us get's lost?" Jimin questioned. "Fifteen minutes, I suppose each of us has a watch. We come back here and discuss. Fifteen minutes" Namjoon said. He really is a smarty after all.

"Alright so me and Seokjin, CEO Kim-Yeonjun-Namjoon, I hope it's fine" Everyone nodded except CEO Kim. He had a rather poker face.

"Me and Seokjin, the three of you. If everyone's fine?" CEO Kim said. His tone was indeed commanding and deep. "Y-yes" Namjoon said, so did others.

A drop of rain fell on me. The trees now do not appear beautiful, they're getting creepier and scarier. The atmosphere turned very dark, i certainly do not like this feeling.
