"Stay put or I swear to god I will throw my heel at you!" I threatened.

Did I seriously just threaten a chicken?!?

The chicken, obviously now deaf, ran for the door like a lifeline. I ran for it from one side and Hendrix followed my lead, running from the opposite. I almost stumbled and bashed my head into the door when it flapped its wings, running away. It then made a beeline for Bentley who wasn't looking, bashing into his leg and landing with a flop onto the ground beside his feet.

Apparently the chicken is deaf and blind now.

"I might just throw my heel at you in a minute." I grumbled at Hendrix, standing straight. He only gave me a quick grin before we walked over, cautiously looking at the chicken that now appeared to be dead as it lay still.

Bentley looked down at it, a frown on his face. We formed a circle around it, all bending our heads and staring at it. Hendrix nudged it with his foot, "Is it dead?"

"God." The other boy beside me muttered. "You just killed the chicken, what next?"

"Me?!" It was you." Hendrix pointed a finger at him. We all peered back down at it, watching for any signs of life.

All of a sudden, it squawked like a damn siren, jumping up and scurrying away. Of course, us being unaware and thinking it was dead, all jumped away in fright.

I instantly grabbed Bentley's forearm, stopping myself from falling back on my heels. However, Hendrix was not so lucky. He managed to trip over his own foot, falling to the floor. He landed with a thud and without a second thought, the chicken climbed onto his face and started attacking him with no mercy.

He did capture it though.

Bentley and I watched as it mercilessly attacked him, our eyes wide as we wanted his hands began waving to get it off and free himself but it clung on with its claws digging into his collar. "Is anyone gonna help me!?" He managed to shout out over its ruthless attacks.

I looked at the boy beside me, holding my hands up. Bentley grunted, taking a step forward. However, he took a quick step back when it squawked at him before turning back around towards its victim.

I pushed him forward, almost knocking him over to which he glared but I kept my eyes plastered on the blood hungry chicken. I urged him on and after a few failing seconds, he swooped down and grabbed the chicken. But as soon as he grabbed it, he threw it like ball as it made a move to bite him.

"Why is it so vicious?" Hendrix wheezed out, edging away from the murderous chicken that stood in the center of the room. His hands held a couple of scratches but none too deep that he would need to visit the nurse's office, and somehow he had managed to keep the rest of himself clean and safe.

Except the fact his uniform gave away the tussle as it held folds and wrinkles in the material.

"You should of thought of that before you decided to ship it over here all that way from Asia." He winced as I whisper-yelled at him, pointing a threatening finger.

"And why did you?" Bentley asked, keeping one eye on it.

"I thought it would be fun!" Henny defended himself, waving his hands as if it would complete his ridiculous point.

"Fine then, explain how we're supposed to get it back in a cage..." I raised a brow at him, letting Bentley finish the sentence.

"...Within the next thirty seconds."

Hendrix shrugged, averting his eyes while the chicken continued running around and i'm pretty sure that at one point, it went head first into the wall. It acted like nothing happened as it picked itself up and continued on its path of panic and escape.
