"Are you serious?!"

I contently sighed as I leaned back in the metal chair, my hands handcuffed behind me as I dully stared at my mother. Police chairs were so horrifically uncomfortable that I'd rather sit in a pool fully clothed.

"You set a community building on fire!"

"I didn't set the whole building on fire" I retorted as if it would make it any better.

"You almost set the whole district on fire." My mother's screams echoed in the small, stone room in the back of the police station. My hands felt stiff as I flexed my fingers to get the feeling back in them. She stood before me, her hair tied high on her head in a sleek bun, a black suit fitted to her body like a glove.

"I just wanted some pancakes and the lady refused" I explained nonchalantly. It was true, I honeslty just wanted some of the pancakes that they were serving but the dumbass lady straight up said 'no'.

Like girl- I doubt you would be able to eat them all.

A community building is supposed to serve the community, right? So why the hell did she not give me some. "You would have thought they would give me some, considering they basically wear 'we are a community' shirts." I muttered under my breath.

"They refused and so you went and burnt down the place? WE have a whole kitchen full of food!" My mother was outraged, currently standing up with her hands braced on the table as she screamed my ears off.

"Actually it was the lady not me, but that was a bonus I guess. I just went in and helped myself to the food. I didn't know that the witch was going to start coming at me with a rolling pin in her hand!" My face showed how horrified I was at the fact the lady really thought she could take me with a rolling pin.

"So you attacked her, left the pan on at the highest temperature , tackled ten people to get through the door and ran only for the building to catch on fire?" She looked at me with disbelief, her blue eyes focused.

I don't know why she was surprised because it wasn't the worst thing I had done. "Atleast I got the pancake." I shrugged with a small smile.

"Are you kidding me?" She yelled.

"No, I'm pretty sure I'm not. Am I?" I knew I wasn't making my case any better but I couldn't help winding her up more.

Let me introduce you really quickly. My mother is Kate Wilson. Also known as a famous model, who people ran after as soon as she stepped outside of the house. The fame and legacy was supposed to be sent down to me but unfortunately for my mother, I'm too reckless.

She tried multiple ways to get me to 'settle down' and the latest one was therapy - as if that would help but, she gave up when I punched the guy in the face after he asked me why I was feeling down and then told me that it wasn't a justified reason for my actions. I might have also stolen his chocolate cake that was on his desk and legged it...
