J͜͡u͜͡s͜͡t͜͡ R͜͡e͜͡l͜͡a͜͡t͜͡i͜͡o͜͡n͜͡s͜͡h͜͡i͜͡p͜͡s͜͡

"It'll only take a minute, I promise." She said returning with the black video camera that we'd used over the years to record all our good memories. "Say cheese!"

I smiled holding flowers and chocolates in both hands. Call it cliche but I'd watched enough chick-flicks and rom-coms, courtesy of Jason the hopeless romantic, to know that girls appreciated that sort of stuff. And also Paul said it helped him win over my mother.

I was driving in Paul's blue Prius, he let me borrow it because I only owned a motorbike and I wasn't convinced that it would make such a good impression on her father. (I feel like Percy would own a motorbike regardless of if he's a punk or not) And I wanted him to like me, obviously.

Then I got a phone call from Jason, I recognised the ring tone as a Taylor Swift song.

I picked it up because my phone was connected to the Bluetooth in the car. "Hey, Jasey?"

"I told you not call me that, Perseus." I could hear the eye roll from the other side.

"Has she dumped him yet!" Someone yelled, that someone was of course Nico.

"No, she hasn't dumped me. Though she did say something about Will wanting to dump you, I think it might be the craving McDonald's at midnight." I shot back.

"Ooh! That burn is almost as hot as me."

"Leo if you're so hot then why don't you have a girlfriend yet?" I heard a crash and a groan of pain. "Also it was ONE time! ONE TIME!"

"Still doesn't change the fact that you got craving at midnight, like bro what the hell? I was starting to think that maybe you were pregnant." Nico used some rather colourful language after that, Jason being Mr. Perfect threatened to clean his mouth out with soap. It was ironic considering his sister was Thalia and she had the dirtiest mouth out of us all.

"Will you all shut up!" Leo said. I was surprised that Leo was telling everyone to be quiet, there was only one explanation, my friend got abducted by aliens and replaced by someone with manners. "I wanna know if the kiss actually happened." There it was. The Leo we all know but nobody loves.

"How did you guys find out about that?"

"We have our sources," Jason said.

"It was Will wasn't it."

"When did Percy have a brain, this is witchcraft!" Nico feigned a gasp.

"Shut it, di Angelo."

"Well did she?" Jason said I think he was eating popcorn.

"I kissed her, not the other way around!"

"That's an even bigger lie!" Nico yelled. "We all know Percy doesn't have the guts."

"You don't either, if you did Will and you would already be dating! And for your information, I did kiss her!"

"Is she a good kisser?" I blushed at that one.

"What are you guys running an FBI case on my love life or is Sparky writing his very own romance novel?" I said as I turned into the suburb where Annabeth lived. "And yea she's a good kisser," I said more quietly.

"Like anyone would write a novel on YOU. Puh-lease. Annabeth maybe but not your boring ass, don't flatter yourself, Jackson." Jason scoffed.

"I'm very interesting, thank you."

"Sure Perce whatever helps you sleep at night. Anyway we all-"

"And by all, he means himself and no one else." Leo cackled like a crazy idiot, nevermind he is a crazy idiot. "This is Leo Valdez Supersized McShizzle Bad Boy Supreme signing off, all da ladies luv Leo." Weirdo. "Go get her, Idiot."

"What I was going to say, before I was rudely interrupted is be yourself and good luck," Jason advised like the true Mom friend he was.

"Oh and try not to do anything stupid," Nico added. "Bye Jackson, I better go check on Leo before he burns something."

"Bye Perce, love you." Yes, Jason said it to everyone so it wasn't weird. The first time he said it to me I may or may not have thought Jason was gay or bi, it just turned out Jason said I love you to all his friends platonically. Well besides Piper of course.

"Love you too, Jase." Jason hung up since I couldn't reach my phone.

My friends were crazy idiots sure, but I still loved them and I wouldn't trade them for anything, not even blue cookies.

Leo was the craziest and most idiotic one of us all. He'd pulled a lot of weird shit over the years from asking out a McDonald's worker to swimming with sharks. Nothing was ever boring with Leo around and fine he was pretty funny sometimes dare I say even hilarious. Despite Leo's unbelievably dangerous and explosive personality, he was actually really good at maths-based subjects, it was always a surprise to teachers who thought Leo was stupid when he well, wasn't. It reminded me of the quote 'don't judge a book by its cover.' Leo really was something else but he was also a great friend, he'd never once left me, or anyone, in the dust or intentionally hurt them. Sure, he was immature but when it came to his best friends he'd never been more serious.

Jason was the sanest one out of us all and that was saying something. Most people didn't expect Goode high's football captain to be a blonde-haired blue-eyed Taylor Swift enthusiast with a taste for rom-coms, chick-flicks and romance novels. But I wouldn't have it any other way, Jason was way better than some jerk jock who picked on other guys and treated girls like objects. He was smart and sweet he also gave the best advice in bad situations, sure he was a stickler for the rules but we needed someone to balance Leo out. He also didn't care if people found it strange that he was a sucker for romance, after all, why should it be gendered. It was inspiring to see a guy who wasn't afraid to show his emotions and admit that he was into typically feminine things, without him being gay, not that that was a bad thing either. And I couldn't be more honoured to be one of his best friends. Besides he really did have great taste in music and movies, my favourite one was 50 first dates. (I just feel like Jason would be like this, also 50 first dates is an AMAZING movie I totally recommend it.)

And finally, Nico was the strangest. He at first came off as a weird emo guy who always looked like he was on the verge of death itself. But really he was just a bunch of rainbows and unicorns on the inside, even if he refused to believe it. But Nico was definitely the bravest too, coming out as gay to his family and friends couldn't have been easy especially since he didn't know how we'd react. I would've cracked under the fear and pressure but not Nico. Luckily, for him his father and sisters accepted it and we did too, obviously. But when everyone at school found out it was a whole different story, there was of course some teasing, mostly from Eric and Matt, but most people talked about it and moved on. And if someone had a death wish they could try their luck at an insult that is if Thalia or I didn't get to them first. People knew that hurting my friends wouldn't get you any points in my book, so unless they were trying to see how much pain they could handle they'd listen. Anyway, Nico was just the right mix between weird and fun as hell, he also seemed to find pleasure in making fun of me constantly. Something about it being his version of therapy.

I finally pulled up to Annabeth's house, it was rather nice. The walls out were a nice cream colour, they had a porch at the front and a balcony that jutted out on the left side.

I got out of the car, running a hand through my hair and checking the time. It was 6:55.

Well here goes nothing.

I hope you enjoyed this one and liked Sally helping Percy and the guys checking in. I thought this was a cute little chapter and it was pretty goddam fun to write ngl.
