Annabeth's pov
"Willam, you better have the caramel popcorn, not the weird flavour you got last time," I yelled. This was the first time Piper's joining us for a girl's and gay's night in, Thalia refused to come, and me being the perfectionist I was wanted everything to be amazing for Piper. We watched rom-coms and chick-flicks we'd seen 5000 times before, painted our nails, well at least I did. The most important part of it all was playing Just Dance on my younger brothers' Nintendo. So maybe it was a little cliche and girly but I didn't care, I had fun and it took my mind off all the shit that happened in life.

I knew that Piper wasn't a girly girl in any way, and neither was I but I still enjoyed typically feminine things. I mean I still wore makeup, I just didn't do a cake face like Drew, skirts, dresses and heels. Piper on the other hand hated all of these things and I respected that, so I hoped she would be ok tonight. Though we had told her what she was getting into.

"Ok, first of all, do you think I would forget the popcorn and second of all stop worrying it's just Piper, it's not like you're sleeping with Percy even though we all know you want to," Will said carrying two bowls of popcorn in. I grabbed a handful as he put them down.

"Shut up! I don't want to sleep with Percy! You better not say anything about him in front of Piper!" I glared at my hands as I tried to hide the blush. No matter how many times I told him, Will just wouldn't believe that I wasn't into Percy. I wasn't, I mean sure he was sweet, funny and very good-looking but we were just friends. He's just a friend. (YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MAD THIS LINE MAKES ME BECAUSE OF ADRIEN FUCKING AGRESTE-)

"Honey, I'm definitely going to talk to Piper about your big ol' crush on Percy."

"Ok Honey, I'll just talk to Piper about your crush on Nico."

A few minutes later the doorbell rang and I got up.

Will being Will said. "Maybe it's Percy."

"Why the hell would it be Percy?"

"Maybe he wants to sleep with you too."

"Please stop. I want to shoot you right now."

"It's true, he probably does. But you should be careful because he might have an STD." I didn't know this shade of red was a colour, I was so embarrassed that not even dying in a hole could help me now.

I walked out of the room contemplating whether I should just throw Will out the window and hope he never comes back. He just has too much fun saying things that no one needs to hear, sometimes I think maybe he has too much confidence.

While you have none because you know you're not good enough.

Dad had answered the door and was saying hello, by that I mean asking her whether she'd ever watched national geographic. "Ok Dad, you can stop boring her to death now." 

"Ok, I was just conversing," He laughed and went back to the couch to watch more national geographic, of course.

"Sorry about him, come in Piper."

Piper stepped inside with a green bomber jacket and bag in hand. She started to pull something out of the bag, a box of chocolates. "Um, I brought these for the sleepover."

Great, she brought...chocolate

I knew Piper was just trying to be nice, but chocolate made me nauseous. It was stupid I knew I just didn't eat sweet things (is that what u Americans call it cause we call it lollies), caramel popcorn was the one exception to that.
