Hi! I'm back I'm kinda upset about losing all my reads but thank you guys for helping me out and following this new account. If you're here from my other account and have noticed that that story hasn't been updated in a while that's because Wattpad logged me out so this is the version of the story that I will keep updating. So don't worry I haven't discontinued the story or my one-shots book.

Percy's pov
Lately, things with Annabeth had been... weird. Not a bad weird but then again is there a good type of weird? There'd been a lot of blushing and flirting and somehow it wasn't just me imagining things. The others kept telling me to ask her out but it wasn't like I could just go up to her and say "hey, do you wanna go out with me?" Ok maybe I could say that but that's not the point.

I had been contemplating - I learned that word in English last week - whether Annabeth liked me or not. I knew that she probably didn't but there was a small part of me that hoped, though, that she did.

On top of that Mom needed my help with baking and making all the cookies for the bake sale on the weekend, so our house smelt like chocolate chips and blue dye, not that I was complaining. But overall it had been a really busy week and I hadn't gotten much time for myself.

So I was just riding my skateboard down towards the skatepark, and no I didn't fall over, the others won't shut up about that. When I heard music, I decided to go check it out because randomly hearing music is only something that happens in a horror movie. At first, I thought it was just the mothers doing their exercise class so I decided to go back to the skatepark because I did not want to have an interaction with my Mom's friends, it always involved a lot of cheek pulling and talking about setting me up with their daughters.

But then I realised the music was too light and airy for a group of middle-aged women who liked Jazz and Zumba.

Turns out the music was coming from near the skatepark, just about where it cuts off towards the 'real' park. There was a girl dancing, but it wasn't just any girl. It was Annabeth. How did I always manage to bump into her at the most random times? Maybe it was fate or just pure luck, who knew?

She was... She was perfect. I'd never seen a beautiful sight, she looked so peaceful and graceful. I could have sat there and watched her all day, no not in a creepy way. Even from far away, her blonde hair shone in the evening light. She really did look like a princess.

I sat on the grass and watched while she danced. Her eyes were closed as her long legs glided across the floor, seriously how had she not attracted a crowd yet. She leapt and then twirled in the air finally landing flawlessly. She opened her eyes and gazed at me.

It was official I hated the colour red. "Uh, Hey? What are you doing here?" Annabeth asked. I was so embarrassed, again. Why did I keep embarrassing myself? How come it was so easy for guys like Matt Sloan to get a girlfriend meanwhile I couldn't even be within 5 feet of a girl without messing up. Piper and Thalia didn't count because I haven't a huge crush on them for years, and quite frankly having a crush on either of them would be betraying my friendship with Jason.

"I-I heard music." It came out more like a question than an answer. "You were really good. Like really good."

Annabeth giggled. "Thank you. It's the dance I'm going to be doing for the bake sale. Do you think they'll like it?"

"Are you kidding they're going to love it! They'd have to be insane not to."

"Well, thank you." She paused for a minute to think. "Wait, get up I want to teach you something?" Great, more opportunities to embarrass me.

"I don't think I can do ballet, Wise Girl."

"Six-year-olds can learn basics, it's not that hard." She said grabbing my hand and pulling me up, I blushed when she touched me. She clearly didn't understand how prone to clumsiness I was.

Annabeth showed me the 'basics'. Which meant teaching me the five positions of ballet which I didn't do too badly at if I do say so myself. And then she tried to teach me how to do a pirouette, emphasis on the tried.

"Ok, just stand like this." She told me, so I stood with my feet, one in front waiting for her next instruction. "It's all about Grace." She did a perfect spin and then said. "See, that's not too hard.

"For you." But I did it anyway and fell on the floor. Very hard.

Annabeth started laughing, trying to cover her snickers with coughs. "Sorry, I have a cold." She faked coughed.

"You did that on purpose, you'll pay for this, Wise Girl." I glared at her and started chasing her.

"I'm So-sorry." She said between laughs as she ran away. "That you're so clumsy, Seaweed Brain."

I grabbed her by the waist and said. "You have to say sorry properly."

Annabeth had stopped laughing and that was the moment I realised what I had just done. Annabeth was wrapped in my arms, blushes coating both of our faces. I let go and said. "Um, I should get going Mom probably needs some more help with, uh, the cookies. Bye."

Then Annabeth did the unexpected, she kissed me on the cheek. She kissed me. Annabeth Chase kissed me. Kissed me. A million things were going through my mind, no one thought staying. I would have sat there all trying to remember what the fuck my name was.

"Um, yeah bye. I'll see you at the bake sale."

I walked off because otherwise, I would have said or done something even more stupid. I still couldn't believe it, maybe she really did like me.

I hate that chapter so much, it's fucking terrible. I had severe writer's block when I wrote this so please forgive the crappiness, it's just a cute Percabeth chapter. I'm so sorry you had to read that. Thank you for staying with me through this book. I promise the next chapter WILL be better.
