*Mackenzie's POV*

Me: I'm home!
Greg: I never left!

I smile as I hop up the stairs, even though, of course Mom doesn't care.

I check the clock as I walk into my room. 6:02. Pretty early.

Immediately, I text Tyler. "Busy? Come over".

I plop onto my bed.

"But it's so far. Come over here".

I almost send no, because Clara might come over, but stop. Nobody else can know.

So I send "I just was at dance. I'm in no condition to move".

"Fine".

About five minutes later: "window. Open."

"Okay, Bossy".

I unlock my window and slide it open.

He pops up, forearms on the windowsill.

Tyler: Wanna call me bossy again?
Me: Yeah, Bossy.

He raises his eyebrows, then climbs his way inside.

He pushes me.

Tyler: Don't call me bossy.
Me: Bossy bossy bossy!

Before I have a chance to run, he picks me up and drops me on my bed. He gets closer to tickle me.

I can't breathe, but have enough strength to kick him until he stops.

Tyler: Gonna stop calling me bossy?
Me: For now.

I keep giggling.

He lies next to me, pulling me closer to him.

Me: I don't have dance tomorrow, Wednesday or Thursday.

He smiles a little.

Tyler: Good.

He kisses my forehead. I cling onto him, his shirt in my fists.

His lips travel to my mouth, arms coming around me.

I pull him on top of me, wanting him closer.

My fingers run through his hair, his lips moving to my neck.

We kiss for what seems like seconds, but I know it has to be longer than that.

He sits up with me, still holding me. There's electricity in my veins, still wanting him against me, even though he's right here.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Me: Mean Girls!
Tyler: I've already seen it twice!
Me: I've seen it a million times! It doesn't matter!
Tyler: Why do you refuse to watch any sort of sport?
Me: Because they suck!

He looks at me with mock horror. I laugh.

Tyler: Come on. I don't even care anymore.
Me: Pushover.
Tyler: So I'm a bossy pushover? Is that it?
Me: So you don't deny it?
Tyler: Yes, I do, as a matter of fact.
Me: Then why didn't you say "no" right away?
Tyler: I was genuinely taken back.
Me: Sarcasm noted.
Tyler: Indirect insults noted.

I roll my eyes and lie back down in the crook of his arm.

We keep flipping channels. Well, Tyler actually does it because I begin nodding off. I don't even realize I was tired until the sound phone ringing wakes me up.

It's darker now; past 8 o'clock I suppose. And Tyler must've turned the lights off.

His arm is still slung over my waist though. He shifts after I sit up, retrieving my phone.
