Whitey- Hands off (requested)

Start from the beginning

"I know"

"Whitey-" I clenched my stomach.

"They gotta stop comin' and causing trouble"

"Whitey!"

He turned and looked at me, the colour instantly draining from my face.

"Not a false alarm" I wheezed " Baby is coming now"

"Uhh oh hell" He panicked " What do we do?"

"Whitey calm down" Bill urged.

"Calm down!"

"Whitey!"I shouted " That's not helping!"

"Ok I'm getting Maggie" Bill said rushing out.

Whitney sat down next to me looking clueless as anything, but as scared as mouse when it sees a cat.

"Ahhh!" I whined " Whitey get of your arse and do something"

"Like what!"

"I don't know, something useful!"

He stood up, looking around the room with his hands on his hips before moving them to his face.

"Fuck" he groaned.

"Uh, Whitey, I would suggest grabbing some towels" Mr Ward said.

"Oh wow, someone who actually knows what they're doing, unlike my very useless husband!"

"I'm trying ok!" He said grabbing a bunch of towels.

I clutched my stomach harder as I felt another painful contraction.

Bill burst back in with Maggie.

"Lordy Whitey you look like you've seen a ghost" Maggie laughed.

"Not funny maggie" He sighed.

"Right come on then, gotta a baby to deliver"

"Here?" Bill asked.

"It's darn late to move her now"

"What about Mr Ward?" Whitey asked.

"I won't look" He said turning around to face the wall.

"Bill I suggest you leave" Maggie told him.

Bill quickly left while Maggie lifted up the skirts of my dress and put a towel over my legs.

"Whitey get over here now" I said through harsh breaths.

"I don't wanna" He said.

"Now!"

"If I look I'm gonna puke"

"Get here, I'm the one bloody giving birth not you!"

"Ok! Ok!"

He sat down in the chair next to me, taking hold of my hand.

"Ok, on every contraction you're gonna push, and it's gonna hurt like a bitch so try not to scream to loud"

I felt another contraction boil up so I pushed as hard as I could, but had already failed at trying not to scream.

"Ahhhh! How much bloody longer is this gonna take!" I cried.

"Almost there!" She said.

After one more push I felt relief as the pain finally stopped and Maggie wrapped up my crying baby in a towel, cleaning the blood up the best she could.

I laid my head back on the desk in relief.

"Y/n!" Whitey shook me.

"What?" I sat up again.

"God you scared me"

"Oh leave it, I'm exhausted"

"It's a girl" Maggie said letting me hold her.

She was so tiny. I couldn't believe that I had just given birth to her.

"Oh hi" I said rocking her lightly " You gave me half a job having to do that little girl I'll tell you that"

"That was terrifying" Whitey said "I'm definitely not sitting with you next time"

"Yes you will Whitey" I told him "Oh look, she has your nose"

He smiled, resting his head on my shoulder and looking at our little girl.

"Do you want to hold her?"I asked.

"What? Hold her? I'm scared I'd drop her" he panicked.

"Whitey, it's fine you won't drop her" I giggled.

I carefully lowered her into his arms, making sure he had a secure hold of her, then leaned back into my chair.

He looked so happy, rocking her and cuddling her.

"We need to name her" He said.

"Mmm I don't know, what do you think?"

"Uhhh, Polly?"

"No that's do basic"

"What about, June"

"No"

"Sally?"

"Actually, I like that one, little Sally"

I leaned on his shoulder in hope of getting a little nap when-

"Y/n!"

"Uh what?"

"Stop doing that!" He complained " I keep thinking you've passed out on me or- died"

"Whitey, I want to sleep, that was hard work, it's drained all the energy out of me"

Sally started crying so Whitey started rocking her to calm her down, but she didn't stop.

"Maybe she's hungry?" I suggested.

"Ok, then why don't you feed her?" He said.

"Not here, lets get home first, I'll feed her, put her to sleep then I'm going to sleep for a week"
