The Pogues were on the boat they used previously for the grocerie deliveries boating through the water on their way to where the 'X' on the map was. "Alright, JJ. Pin it here." John B said as they arrived.
"Roger that! X marks the spot." JJ replied.
"All right, ladies and gentlemen." John B said grabbing the ROV. "To going full Kook."
"To going full Kook." Brielle replied as John B lowered the ROV into the water and started driving it closer to the 'X' on the map.
Pope and Brielle watched the camera as Kiara and John B held the cord connecting to the ROV as they lowered it closer. "All right, JJ, we're right over it. Ten seconds northwest." John B said.
"Got it! Ten seconds northwest." JJ replied and moved the boat.
"One hundred feet." Kiara said holding the cord.
"What?!" Brielle exclaimed as Pope gasped, startling her.
"It's nothing." Pope assured, making John B groan. "Sorry, I thought-"
"You scared me, Pope." Brielle sighed.
"Don't do that to me, man." JJ said.
"My bad. I just thought I saw..." Pope trailed, then looked at the screen as the ROV went lower. "And to quote The Hobbit, 'Down, down, to Goblin Town. Down, down, you go, my lad.'"
"How's it going, Kie?" Brielle asked walking over to the brunette.
"Getting closer." Kiara replied smiling. "Four hundred feet!"
"The tides turning!" Brielle said.
"Hey, JJ?" John B asked.
"Yup?" JJ replied.
"Ten seconds easy." John B said. "Alright, Sou-Southeast."
"Copy that!" JJ said and quickly turned the wheel.
"JJ, 20 seconds mid-speed, all right? South." John B said.
"Copy that. Aye-aye." JJ replied. "Come on."
"Keep the tether out of the prop!" Pope exclaimed.
"I'm trying!" Kiara replied.
"JJ, keep going!" John B said looking at the camera.
"John B, is that good?" JJ said looking back at the four teens.
"We're good!" John B replied.
"Okay, 700 feet!" Brielle said, then they all looked at the sky as the thunder rumbled and the wind picked up.
"Oookay." JJ said as the boat moved with the waves as they got bigger.
"It doesn't look good." Brielle said walking up to JJ.
"Yeah, it doesn't." JJ replied looking at the sky.
"JJ! Hold it steady!" John B said over the wind.
"Okay, 900!" Kiara exclaimed.
"JJ, we're gonna turtle in this storm." Pope said.
"920!" Kiara exclaimed.
"Crank it north by northwest!" John B exclaimed. "Ten seconds!"
"Almost there!" Pope exclaimed.
"John B, there's too much current!" Kiara exclaimed in a worried tone. "We're gonna lose it!"
"South, southwest, JJ! Hard!" John B exclaimed.
"Shit." Brielle said as JJ turned the wheel making her stumble.
