Sherlock would look at the situation logically; if he rushes over, the child will think that there is something seriously wrong with him, but if he just encourages him up then he will see it's nothing to be afraid of.

John would laugh for a bit, which makes the child stroppy at first, but then they join in with him. As long as the child isn't seriously hurt, John will try to make light of it to help them feel better about it.

Jim was trying to teach them self defence when they fell over. He'd definitely be the type of parent to laugh as long as they are not really hurt, and then tell them to pick themselves up and carry on fighting.

Greg set up a pool in the garden and you child fell on the way there. He'd brush them down and get them to help him clean their wounds/ put a plaster on it if they need it, then hop into the pool with them. But safety comes first.

After seeing his child do this, Mycroft's mind will race over all the possibilities that could have happened if he fell wrong. You calm him down and will look over the child to make sure they are okay. But then he'd start thinking that maybe his child can become a stunt person or something.
