"I hope you like caramel popcorn and Just Dance."

"Who doesn't? Also, I just wanted to thank you for inviting me." Piper smiled as we walked up the stairs.

"IS IT PERCY!?" Will.

"SHUT UP YOU'LL SCARE HER AWAY!"

"Impossible, I'm not scary am I Piper?"

"Don't answer that-"

"No."

"See? Now Piper what do you want to do?"

"Annabeth did mention something about Just Dance and if I do say so myself, I'm pretty good at it."

"How good are you against two ballet dancers?" I raised an eyebrow jokingly.

"I'll probably crash and burn but I want to try."

So we spent the next hour and a half playing Just Dance 20o9 (This is set in 2010 so...). Safe to say we beat Piper but she was still really good. After that, we decided to do the 'typical' girly face mask since we were all sweaty and tired.

"So Piper aren't you dating Jason?" Will asked as he applied the mask onto his face, to be honest, he looked a little scary.

"Yep, we've been going out for two years." Piper and Jason had started dating at the end of Sophomore year and they were a cute couple, I could see them making it through college and getting married easily. (Yes I know they broke up and he died [Rip Jase we love u <3] but let's just pretend that didn't happen and Uncle Rick isn't a monster)

"You better invite me to the wedding, in fact, let me plan it."

"Will, Piper's not crazy, you aren't crazy, right?"

"Well if I say no that might be lying."

"Oh, Please Annie's just jealous that I have better taste than her in everything."

"Speaking of taste, Annabeth what do you look for in a guy." Piper turned to me green-faced, because of the mask. No matter what I would not describe Percy, but I had to answer the question otherwise it would look like I was hiding a secret boyfriend.

"I don't know. He needs to be nice, I guess I'd also like him to have a sense of humour and this one might be a little mean but he has to be decent looking. Why?" That seemed like a vague enough summary, not specific towards anyone in particular. Not that there was anyone in particular to describe.

"No reason, right Will?" She said smugly and that's how I knew something was up.

"Yep, just a little question that's all." Will said through mouthfuls of popcorn.

"But if you did have to choose a guy from our school to supposedly date, who would it be?" Piper questioned nonchalantly grabbing the crimson nail polish, quite a gothic colour to be honest but it did match Piper's whole aesthetic, by that I meant tomboy skater chic.

My mind immediately thought of Percy for some reason. Strange. But out of all straight male human beings, he was probably the only one I would want to date. After all the straight male population at Goode consisted of three groups; the complete jerks who probably only wanted you because you had a 'hot' body or because you were an easy target to sleep with, the weirdos who were looking for some girl stupid or desperate enough to go out or/and sleep with them and the significantly smaller group, who were actually decent human beings and didn't just want to see how many girls they could fuck by the end of the year.

"I don't know, I don't even talk to most of the guys in our grade." I shrugged shaking the bottle of sea-green nail polish, my favourite colour. It reminded me of Percy's eyes, though that wasn't why I liked it, they were quite an unusual green, not like the grass but like the ocean. I had to admit that even though I don't like him, as more than a friend anyway, his eyes were mesmerizingly beautiful I could stare into them all day and never get bored.
