May 22nd

(Part one of finale)

I woke up with my hands tightly tied to the back of a chair. My legs were duct taped together.

I couldn't see anything like my vision had gone black. I could tell there wasn't a blindfold on my face however.

Slowly, my vision started to come back. However, my vision was still a bit blurry and my head was pounding. Water dripped from the ceiling. My nostrils filled with the smell of blood and sewer water.

The place I was in felt familiar like I've been here before.

Wait, am I in that weird place that I always am in my nightmares?

It made sense, it looked actually where my nightmares take place.

But it felt different.

It felt almost as if I was actually here in the nightmare world.

How would that be possible?

Then my memory slowly started to come back. I started to remember walking in the park and then a needle stabbing me in the neck.

Then the lights began to flicker and I heard ginoramus footsteps walking towards me in the distance.

"Hello? Who's there?" I questioned.

"It's me," said the voice.

I recognized that voice, I believe it belonged to Chan.

"Chan, is that you?" I questioned.

"Of course it is, who else would it be?" chuckled Chan.

"Am I actually here?" I asked.

He took a few steps closer to me and pulled my chin.

"Yeah, this isn't a nightmare," a smirked Chan.

The lights stopped flicking and I could see the room clearly.

"Wait, did you kidnap Kahlil too?" I asked.

"I didn't, my daughter did," answered Chan.

"Y-your daughter," I stuttered.

"Yeah, she goes to school with you," said Chan.

"Why did she take me here? What are you going to do with me?" I asked.

"Why do you care?" He questioned.

"Just answer the fucking question!" I yelled.

"Little girl, don't raise your voice or I will kill you right now!" He shouted back.

I took a deep breath and sighed, "Why am I here?"

"Because I'll be killing you today," smirked Chan.

My heart sank and my eyes widened.

It's not like I didn't expect him to kill me at some point, but I never thought he would do it today.

"But before that, I have something to take care of," said Chan.

He walked over to the side of the room. There was this person lying on the concrete floor with a bag over their head and their arms tied.

You could hear the person quietly sobbing.

He snatched the bag off of the person's head.

"This is why your dying because you kept trying to warn her. I found out about your notes you were sending Lola," said Chan.

"L-lia, is that really you?" I stuttered.

She nodded.

Lia was getting worse, her skin was paler than snow. She was shivering even though it was very humid in the room.
