"You're Annabeth, right?" Someone asked as I was taking of my ballet flats, that person sounded like Antonio. He had quite a strong French accent but it wasn't crazy over the top like in the movies.

"Yep, that's me, nice to meet you." I smiled. "Oh and this is William." I teased, he hated that name just as much as I hated being called Annie.

"It's Will, actually." He glared at me, I stuck out my tongue.

"Well it's very nice to meet you both, I was just wondering what characters you'd be auditioning for?" Antonio asked ignoring our bickering.

Will answered first. "Well I'm hoping to get the part of Von Rothbart and Annabeth is auditioning for Odet-"

"Antonio, what are you doing hanging out with the gay guy and his 'best friend'." Drew. That's it I'm about to kill a bitch. Will was still quite sensitive about being gay, he wasn't embarrassed he was just scared. Especially after what happened with his parents.

"Shut the fuck up, Tanaka." Everyone who knew me knew that if you picked on Will Solace then Annabeth Chase would dig you a grave before she murders you. I might not be the most confident girl but when it comes to my best friend and his sexuality, I get a little more than a tad bit bitchy.

"I'm sorry what did you say to me?" She sneered. It made her look even uglier than she already was.

"You heard me shut up, you have no right outing Will's sexuality if he wants to tell Antonio that he's gay he can do it on his own accord. He doesn't need your help." Everyone crowded around us looked genuinely scared of me. But I could tell that Will was smiling.

"You know Annabeth I'm doing you a favour." What favour was that? "You would be so much more popular if you ditched him. You know I heard a rumour that you're lesbian and that you guys watch gay porn." Everyone snickered. I rolled my eyes. What the hell was this girl even saying at this point.

"Maybe you shouldn't believe everything you hear at school. I mean, after all, you should know after the incident with Matt." Matt Sloan. The school player and Drew's ex-boyfriend. Apparently, while they were dating Drew slept with every boy on the football team multiple times. I thought that was something that only happened in movies. Alas the rumour was false but Drew did cheat on Matt but only with Eric Dolan. (An OC of mine) The other school player.

Drew tensed. "Whatever Annie, all I'm saying is that you might get a boyfriend if you stopped hanging out with this loser. I mean it's not normal for a girl's best friend to be a guy. Let alone a gay one."

"Do you think I care? I don't need a boyfriend, I have a real friend. And who gives a fuck if guys won't pay attention to me because I'm best friends with a gay one. I don't need to or want to date some homophobic dipshit. If they don't respect my best friend then they're not my type." It's true. Will is way more important to me than getting a guy. If I find one that respects Will and his sexuality (*cough* Percy *cough*) then I might take interest in them. But until then I'm ok with being single. As long as I have Will.

Drew knew she had lost. So she just stormed off but not before grabbing Antonio. He seemed uncomfortable but I was not in the mood for another fight with Satan herself.
