Miseon wandered through the crowded festival, smiling as her gaze landed on a couple of stuffed animals they had, not noticing the stares she got from boys that came from other schools. Clutching the straps of her bag, the brunette continued to look around before she noticed her best friend's familiar frame in the distance. Running up to her, Miseon linked her arm with hers.

Not getting the reaction she was hoping for, the petite girl followed Jugyeong's gaze. Miseon's eyes widen as she saw Gowoon walk through a crowd of people with makeup that could be considered scary.

"I'm gonna go fix her makeup, do you wanna come?" Jugyeong asked as she pulled her arm from the Kim girl.

"It's okay," Miseon replied as she shook her head. "It's best if I just stay here. Tell her I said hi."

Jugyeong nodded before running off, leaving Miseon behind as she watched the Im girl take Gowoon away. Meanwhile, an irritated Seojun was roughly throwing water balloons at his friends whose heads were peeking out from a cardboard cutout.

"Seojun! Are you mad or something?" Chorong asked as he took his head out, screaming time out while he made his way towards his friend.

"Whatever," Seojun responded before he tried to walk away, his friends circling him as Chorong whined.

"Where are you going? You have to be our sign."

"Sign?"

"Your face. Girls will line up if you're here," Chorong explained.

"I'm going to go see my pretty girl," Seojun muttered as he strolled away, only to spot Miseon's petite frame walking around. "Kim Miseon!"

Confusion washed over the brunette as she turned around, only to come face to face with a smiling Seojun.

"Oh, hey, Stalker," Miseon greeted casually, ignoring the glare he was giving her.

"Don't call me that," the Han boy huffed before he grabbed her hand, causing the smaller girl's heart to skip a beat. "Let's go?"

Miseon nodded with a smile as the duo made their way towards the auditorium, ready to go see Gowoon sing her heart out.

A few minutes later, the pair sat down in their seats just as the lights dimmed and the curtains opened, revealing Gowoon and her class to the audience. Miseon's mouth fell open as she stared at the girl. She was absolutely gorgeous. Jugyeong had done an amazing job of fixing the younger girl's makeup.

Turning her gaze to Seojun, the petite girl patted his arm repeatedly with an enormous smile, pointing at the Han girl in excitement. The tall boy chuckled before he returned his gaze to the front, his eyes gleaming in admiration.

The kids harmonized together beautifully before Gowoon silently walked away from her classmates, the lights on the stage dimming and focused on her. The spotlight was like a brilliant path through the dark as if a hundred million stars had joined up to make it as she glowed, her voice angelically echoing off the walls.

Miseon couldn't help but teared up, totally immersed in the performance as the Han girl continued to sing, her voice pulling her heartstrings. Truthfully, she hadn't known the younger girl for very long, but she already felt a special connection with her and the brunette couldn't help but feel extremely proud as the song came to an end.

Instantly standing on her feet, Miseon clapped happily as she shouted, her heart swelling in pride. Seojun joined her as he laughed, watching the petite girl next to him radiate like the sun as she yelled compliments to her.

"Are you crying?" The Han boy asked as he peered down at the shorter girl, who was rubbing away her tears with the tip of her fingers.

"Shut up," Miseon mumbled, feeling a little embarrassed.

"God, why are you so cute," Seojun muttered to himself as he took her face into his hands, his thumb wiping the remaining tears.

Miseon could only stare with wide eyes as he got a tissue from his bag, gently dabbing under her eyes, completely oblivious to her flustered state. Her heart pounded in her ears and she felt butterflies in her stomach as his face approached her. Fiddling with her bracelet, she sighed as he leaned away, contentment swirling in his eyes as he observed the pretty girl in front of him.

The two stared at each other in silence, their hearts beating fast before Miseon shifted her gaze elsewhere, only to land on Gowoon's familiar frame. A grin formed on her face as she jogged over to the younger girl, throwing herself in her arms. "Gowoon!"

Seojun quickly followed behind with flowers in his hands as he approached them. A handsome smile gracing his features as he handed them over to his sister, complimenting her performance.

"Han Seojun? Sunnie?" Jugyeong questioned, her eyes wide as her gaze flickered between the two.

"Do you know each other?" The Han boy asked, pointing between Gowoon and the Im girl in surprise.

"Do you know my brother?" Gowoon inquired, her brows furrowing as she turned towards the tall girl.

"Brother?" Jugyeong gasped, "For real?"

Miseon silently stood next to Seojun in amusement as she watched the funny interaction before Sooa's voice could be heard in the distance, shouting Jugyeong's name.

"Jugyeong! I need your help! Soojin suddenly can't make it. I need you!"

"Okay," the Im girl responded as she was dragged away. "I'll see you at the basketball game, Sunnie."

Miseon nodded and waved goodbye at the two as they rushed off before turning to the siblings.

"We should celebrate later. My treat!"

"You don't have to," Gowoon spoke up, waving her hands in front of her.

"Of course I have to! You did great out there, it's the least I can do," the Kim girl said as she patted the girl's arm, beaming at her. "Let me know when you're free."

"What about me?" Seojun whined childishly, feeling totally ignored by the two girls.

"Whatever, you can come too," Miseon rolled her eyes, bumping her shoulder with his side before her phone rang. Bowing her head apologetically, the petite girl took her phone out of her small purse, looking at who was calling her before her brows furrowed as she saw an unknown number.

Sharing a confused glance with Seojun, Miseon cleared her throat as she turned her attention towards Gowoon. "I have to take this, but good job on the performance Gowoonie. Text me later okay!"

Quickly taking the call, the Kim girl walked towards a more secluded place. Meanwhile, Seojun watched her run off with a worried expression before his sister sighed.

"You're so obvious. Go after her."

"What?"

"Are you deaf? Go after her!" Gowoon said as she pushed her brother in the direction Miseon went, flashing him a thumbs-up as he glanced at her before he jogged away. The Han girl stared at his retreating figure with a small smile. It was refreshing to see her brother worry about someone else for a change.
