Benny- I miss you

"Hey" he smiled.

"Hi"

"Uh we'll take my car"

He drove us along the road, parking his car outside an apartment building. He lead me down the musty stairway all the way down to his little apartment. Be unlocked the door, walking inside. It was one large room, no carpet or wallpaper just concrete walls. A small kitchen area, the shower in the corner. And one room which was his bedroom.

"I won't stay for long" I told him " I have work to do"

"You just got here and you're talking about leaving"

"Benny..."

"Do you know why I asked you to come?"

"You're lonely"

"That and, I wanted some time alone with you"

"For what?"

"You don't catch on very quick do you?" He chuckled.

"I would if you told me"

"Doesn't matter" he shook his head.

I lay on my back on the airbed. The cold air making me shiver every so often. Why did I agree to this? There's no point in being here, he won't even telk me why he wanted me here. Now I'm lying on a crappy airbed, freezing, in this dirty apartment.

I got off the airbed, walking up his room. Opening the door.

"Benny"

He moved a little.

"Benny!"

"Mmmmm" he groaned, sitting up.

"Yeah?"

"I can't sleep"

" yeah it's usually quite noisy, with the cars and everything"

"No it's not that"

"What?"

I sighed "I'm...home sick"

"Home sick" he chuckled "you're a chess player who travels around the world and you're home sick? Makes a lot of sense Y/n"

"That was extremely helpful Benny, I can't control when I'm home sick ok!"

"Alright, calm down"

"Benny why did you bring me here?" I asked again " be honest"

"Honestly?"

"Yes"

" I brought you here because I enjoyed being around you at the competition and I really like you, so I wanted to see you again"

"You could have done that another way, I'm not exactly comfortable here"

"Come here" he patted the bed.

"What?"

"Come here"

"I'm not sleeping in your bed with you"

"I promise it will help you sleep, come on"

I reluctantly, went over, climbing in next to him. He draped his arms over me pulling me close.

I woke up, to an emptiness next to me. Wow it actually worked, I fell asleep. I got out to find Benny making a coffie.

"Coffie?" He asked.

"No thanks, I'm going" I said.

"Where?"

"Home"

"You just got here"

"Benny, I don't like it here, no offence but I don't, I just want to give home"

"No, please" he grabbed my hand " give me a chance"

"Why? What's the point in me being here?"

He leaves down kissing me gently. I didn't expect him to do that but I didn't object. I kissed back.

"Please" he begged.

"Fine"

"I don't want to be friends" he said.

"Close friends?" I teased, playing clueless.

"Mmm bit more than that darling"

"Best friends?"

"Little closer than that"

"Friends, who mess around from time to time?"

"Sounds nice but I was thinking more like, couple thing?"

"Oh wow Benny that was fast"

"Was it though?"

"Yeah in all seriousness it was fast"

"So is it a no or"

"It's a yes Benny" I kissed him.
