"Please."

Tubbo paused his rage filed rampage, hearing a voice that sounded... so familiar. Though, turning towards the source, he was only met with a mere Prinny.

It might have looked different than the rest—the penguin hide being a soft red than a deep blue—but a prinny nonetheless.

He looked up, seeing his vassal, Tommy, and the clueless angel, Ranboo. The self proclaimed Dark Adonis, Glatt.. he was there too.

Turning away, he stared at the large beacon, watching as the other Prinnies made their way through. Reapers watched him, judgementally.

"Prince, if you truly value your servants..." Tubbo listened to what the red prinny had to say. "If you had any affection towards them, you should give them your blessing to be reborn."

That's right. Prinnies who've atoned for their sins are given the chance to be reborn, when the moon has turned red..to start a new life in the Human world.

"The souls of the humans who have committed sins, deep within the Prinnies hearts, are very delicate, so they can be hurt easily."

Tubbo remembered Ranboo saying something similar to that. The angel scolded him, saying 'People's feelings are delicate. They can be hurt by just the slightest insult.'

He remembered someone else who said something similar as well... he shoved those memories down.

"Please treat them with kindness and love." The red prinny continued, "If you are truly the next king..."

The stupid ram demon spoke up, "You will rule the Netherworld with love and kindness. Please consider them! That's what the true king would do."

Why were they so familiar? Tubbo couldn't help but think of the late king—'Glatt' reminded the prince of him. Annoying...

And the prinny.. Tubbo remembered being taught about love and kindness. Staring up in awe at the Queen as she spoke.

'Demons also feel love, Tubbo.'

"Demons also feel love, prince."

It was almost in tandem, the memory and the prinny speaking.

"So please allow them to leave, they have already repented for their sins."

Tubbo's previous anger, anger towards the prinnies—beings created to work for demons—for leaving was replaced. He wasn't sure what he was feeling, but it wasn't anger.

Finally, Tubbo spoke up, "So you're saying this is what's best for the Prinnies?"

"Yes." The red prinny confirmed.

Tubbo stared hesitantly at the red prinny, his eyebrows furrowed, ram tail flicking in suspicion. "Fine. Then do as you wish."

Tubbo turned to walk away, saying nothing more, but he listened closely, just in case.

The Prinnies continued as Tubbo left, letting their human souls go to live on once again.

"I'm glad we got through to him." The red prinny said, "And now.. I can go to the red moon without any worry."

The angel trainee let out a surprised gasp, just barely hearing a choked noise from the ram demon beside him. "Please wait!" Ranboo exclaimed, "You are... what sin did you commit?"

The prinny didn't turn to Ranboo, but answered his question, "My sin.. was that I took my own life. To throw away one's own life is a grave sin."

Ranboo couldn't help but feel confused at that, "Why... why would someone as loving and caring as you do such a thing?!"

"It was to save the life of my son."

The coincidence was almost too perfect.

Ranboo recalled the story Tommy told him, about how Tubbo fell ill. So sick that not even the King—the Overlord, couldn't cure him.

Tommy told him that the only way the prince could've been saved was the life of someone who loved him most.

Ranboo fell silent, he heard a set of footsteps stop. Looking over, Tubbo had stopped dead in his tracks.

He heard the same sound from Glatt again—he was crying.

"My death caused my son to cage his precious feelings within him but..." The prinny turned to Ranboo, an expression that could be seen as a smile on her face. "He seems to be changing bit by bit now. All thanks to the wonderful people around him."

The prinny watched Tommy and Ranboo, turning away once again, "My duty as a mother is finished now. As for the rest, my son will figure it out on his own."

She slowly walked forward to the beacon that leads prinnies to the red moon.

Tubbo whirled around, about to say something but cutting himself off, his outstretched hand that reached for the prinny clenched, and he forced himself to look away.

"Wait!" Ranboo raised his voice slightly, "Please wait!" He repeated when the prinny didn't seem to listen. "If you love your son so much, why are you leaving without saying a word to him?!"

"You think I'm cruel..." The prinny said. "Of course I want him to know I'm his mother. Of course I want to hold him in my arms once again." Her voice was frantic, pained.

"But if we have to separate once again... to leave quietly without saying a word is my way to showing my love."

Tubbo met the Prinny's gaze, blinking in...disbelief? "Going through that pain once was enough."

Ranboo stared down at the ground, "I'm sorry." He said quietly, only to say it once again, "I'm so sorry, I didn't think about your own feelings and only considered my own ideas about love. Please forgive me..."

"Truly... the prince has good people around him." She finally turned all her attention to Tubbo, "Then.. your highness.. take care."

Tubbo didn't say anything—he had nothing to say.

"Ranboo, Tommy, please take care of him."

"Of course!" Ranboo nodded.

"Yeah." Tommy agreed, "You can count on us."

"Then..." the prinny nodded too, "I'll be going then."

Tubbo watched the prinny approach the beacon, watched the prinny hide fall loosely to the ground, the human soul that traveled to the red moon.

Ranboo kept an eye on Tubbo, listening as the song the Prinny's sang echoed through the icy land.

The red moon reflected in Tubbo's eyes, Ranboo thoughts, was wavering continuously. Just as his heart was wavering.

Because he is a demon, Tubbo says he doesn't have kindness or affection. But the truth is.. Tubbo loved his mother very much.

His mother who was filled with love and kindness, sacrificed herself for him. For Tubbo, only through denying love and kindness, could he come to terms with his mother's death.

Even though it was too much to bear, even though he must have been in so much pain...and even though it must have been very sad.

But that red moon reflected in his eyes can wash away his sad past.

Tubbo squeezed his eyes shut, gritting his teeth before letting out a pained cry.

The beacon's light slowly faded, the reapers returned to where they came from.

Ranboo watched as the moons shadow disappeared, now a fully red moon again. Tommy watched too.

In my heart, that red moon has made me aware of a new kind of love.

Ranboo's vision became unfocused, previously unshed tears falling down his face.

The sad love between a mother and a son...I can never forget.
