At every tug of the corner of Louise's lips to form a smile, the lines around it would disappear, only coming back around once the smile has left her face. More often than not at the moment, the smile lines lay scattered to show her discontent with current setting.

"Umm, so Alex tells me you got heartburns... Do you still get them? Or...?"

Louise prolongs the bending of the last word, unsure of what to add on. The third party sits across from her, adopting the same uncertain and awkward facial expressions one would have when speaking to an unreachable person.

"Oh, no. We, I mean, I,,, just um, after going to the gyne everything got cleared up. And, that was like months ago, so..."

With the same prolonged bending of the last word, Talaska and Louise both dropped their gaze and instead focused on the empty plates between them.

"Oh... right."

It was nearing 4 in the afternoon, and the gang had decided to play tennis this morning, excluding the newlyweds that were already 8000 miles away at Bali- working on their sun tans.

Nick, Matt, and Miles all left early after a series of rounds to tend to their own personal lives and relationships.

Initially, only the twosome were set to embark on lunch at the diner near the apartment, but on last minute Alex had invited Talaska. Worth noting that it took everything in Lou to not roll her eyes right then and there.

"Alex, would you please order me another cup of coffee? I'm going to the studio tonight and I think I'll be late baby."

Sitting himself up straight in his chair, Alex eyed the two and dreaded having to get another coffee for Louise, thinking that another coffee would mean another few minutes spent with the two. He's not sure whether he can undergo the tension and awkward atmosphere they're radiating here, ready to combust if they don't part soon.

"Oh, no, you sit, Al. I wanna order another cuppa tea as well." Tal said in a light manner with his accent, deceiving the two sat in front of her when really- all she wants is to get away from them.

Placing her palms on the table and pushing herself up, Lou whipped out a $10 bill and held it out to her.

"I can pay for the both of us, it's fine."
Lou said, unable to bear with the idea of oweing someone money, especially if that someone were Talaska.

"It's fine, Lou. It's on me-"

"Please take it."
She said in a half harsh voice. Alex looked at her and the paper stuck out in between her fingers.
