"I'll be there in fifteen minutes." The person said as he hung up on the call.

Mirae sat sipping onto her lemonade going through her phone, waiting.

"Hi."

Mirae looked up to find a tall handsome man smiling at her.

"Hi... How are you?" She asked.

"Am fine. And you look fine too!" The man said checking her out shamelessly.

Mirae smiled hesitantly.

"So why are you here?" The man said sitting beside her, much to her disappointment.

"To meet a client."

"I see your business is going fine."

"Ah... Yes..." Uncomfort evident in her voice.

"Well since am here. Should we get a drink?"

"Anniyo. I can't. I told you I have a meeting."

"But I don't see your client coming."

"He is late."

"He?" He frowned asking.

"Na-"

"Mirae!" Ye-jun's voice called for her before she could complete her sentence.

Mirae heaved a sigh of relief.

"Hey!" Mirae said as Ye-jun approached their table.

"I see your client is a lot friendly with you?" The man arched his brow at Mirae.

"Yes. His noona is my client. He is a friend of mine."

"None I have seen before." The man scoffed.

"He is-" Mirae started.

"Who are you though to be asking all these questions?" Ye-jun asked judging well that Mirae wasn't comfortable with that man around.

"Tell him Mirae." The man smirked.

"He is Ha-eun. My... ex-husband's... son." Mirae said.

"Her stepson basically." Ha-eun said holding onto Mirae's shoulder.

Mirae shrugged her shoulders removing his hands off her.

"Oh..." Ye-jun said.

"He better be you just friend." Ha-eun whispered into her ear.

Mirae flinched and glared at him.

Ha-eun chuckled before standing up.

"I'll leave you guys. I have a date waiting for me. Meet you soon eomma." He winked at Mirae before taking his leave finally.

The two saw him go away and Ye-jun turned to Mirae with concern filled eyes.

"Gwencchanayo?" He asked.

Mirae forced a smile nodding.

"You want to skip today? We can do this tomorrow too you know. There's not much left."
