When Merlin wakes up the next morning he actually feels fine.

The groaning from Gwaine and Tucker says otherwise on there end.

"How much did we drink?" Tucker asks slowly sitting up as Gwaine puts a couch pillow over his head as if that'll somehow help block out the noise.

A reply from the pillow. "I don't know. But I didn't think we drank that much. Like at all." Gwaine sits up, looking like hell on earth.

Merlin yawns and looks down to see a sleeping Arthur curled up around a couch throw pillow. "How is he still sleeping?" Merlin says stretching his arms over his head.

Gwaine shrugs. "I don't know- he used to be the one who was up before any of us when there was a sound around him."

"I need coffee." Gwaine continues before standing up. He must have stood up to fast because he automatically falls back down on the couch, holding his head while groaning. "Oh god bad idea, bad idea Gwaine." He says to himself and Merlin rolls his eyes.

"I'll get coffee. Stay down Gwaine." Merlin says untangling himself from a sleeping Arthur. He gets up, making his way to the kitchen when his phone rings somewhere in the house.

He frowns looking around, walking back into the living room trying to remember where he put his phone. The ringing is faint but it's there somewhere. "Merlin is that your phone going off?" Tucker asks around a yawn. Merlin nods. "Where is it?" He looks around confused with Merlin.

"I think it's in between the cushion and chair under Arthur." Tucker says and all eyes go to the sleeping king.

Merlin smiles and walks back over to Arthur. He puts his hand on his shoulder and slowly shakes him. "Hey Arthur, time to get up." He says and Arthur groans burring his face more into the couch.

Merlin rolls his eyes. "Arthur you gotta get up." He shakes him again, a little harder than before. "Up and at'em." Merlin says snickering. "Shake a leg!" He says laughing and Arthur frowns before opening an eye and narrowing it at Merlin. Merlin leans in close to Arthur's face grinning. "Let's have you a lazy daisy." He says and Arthur grabs ahold on Merlin and pulls him back down with him, crushing him between Arthur and the couch.

"Ahh that's better." Arthur says snuggling back into Merlin who just rolls his eyes.

He shoves Arthur's arm. "Get up you dollophead." He says and Gwaine chuckles but it ends with a groan. "Arthur we have to get up- my phone was ringing and your ass is laying on the cushion it's under." He says and struggles to break free. "Arthur let me go!" He yells and Arthur laughs in Merlin's neck.

"You never could beat me when it came to physical combat." He mumbles into Merlin's skin and Merlin ignores the shiver that runs through him. He feels Arthur smile against him.

Merlin rolls his eyes. "Yes but are we in combat right now? No. No we are not. So if you'd oh so kindly let me go and get up, that would be wonderful." The sarcasm is strong this morning he thinks.

Arthur sighs loudly as if letting Merlin go is the worst thing imaginable. He sits up and Merlin shoves him over as he digs in the cushion for his phone that stopped ringing a few moments ago.
