It's a Clause written into every couples story, but is only enacted if ONE of the TWO breaks the others heart through such means as for example : CRUELTY, DECEPTION, & NOT UP TO BUT ALSO INCLUDING APATHY, LOSS OF EMPATHY, PHILANDERING/GALLIVANTING, etc. Think of it as LOVE's most ULTIMATE/ABSOLUTE LAW. Whenever the NEVER/EVER Clause is engaged the K.A.R.M.A Department is called in to...issue the assigned PUNISHMENT, as well as determine the duration of said INFLICTION/ORDER so as to deliever swift justice to the WRONGED. The AGENTS of K.A.R.M.A are drafted from the ranks of those unfortunate enough not to have survived their own brush with LOVE. They say HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED for a reason. Where did you think DEMONS came from? MERCY isn't a term found in their CODE OF CONDUCT, not that there is a CODE OF CONDUCT, per say-they are DEMONS after all. There are NO PASSES, NO EXCEPTIONS, & NO WHERE TO RUN or HIDE. In the NEVER/EVER an agent of K.A.R.M.A (DEMON) will be sent to Earth to take up GUARDIANSHIP of SECTOR A938-B & monitor the populace in her designated zone. Now WHY DEMONS? Well, that's simple: possession makes it easy to shift sex's & allows flexibility inside the K.A.R.M.A Department without need for wasted manpower. Even HELL has a budget, but by leasing out VENGEFUL DEMON's who were wronged in their past lives the DAMNED can buy back their souls from the DEVIL. It takes 666 convicted CRIMINALS to balance the scales, once the quota is met the DAMNED is relinquished & fitted with a NEW PERSONA, & RELEASED back into the MORTAL REALM. Not a bad deal, right?

It's called 'Growing Up Hemmings' because this story will be told entirely in the point of view as Luke's daughter's character Lottie. The inspiration behind this autobiography type of book and title comes from an exhibit in Graceland called 'Growing Up Presley' which is an exhibit about Lisa Marie Presley and what is was like growing up with having Elvis as a dad! This is basically my twist on that.
