★ Escape ★

Heaven's pov

I was breathing heavily but I was way too scared to stop right here I didn't even looked back and started running again. After running for what felt like an eternity, I saw a convenience store and it was opened.

I can easily ask someone to help me or at least use someone's phone to call the cops. I ran towards the store as my eyes got teary, I felt like I was free and nothing can possibly go wrong from here.

As I entered the store I saw an old man at the cash counter, I instantly ran towards him.

I probably looked like a crazy woman but I didn't care I just want someone's help right now and that's the only thing that matters. I was panting and the old man recognized that something was wrong.

"Are you okay? Is something wrong?" he asked in worried tone, even the slightest human affection right now made me cry.

"Can you p-please help me? I was kidnapped and I-I just ran away from him. please help me" I stated breathlessly, I had trouble in speaking because I was crying and was out of breath because of excessive running.

His eyes widened in shock but he didn't asked me any more questions "don't worry kid, I'm calling the police right now. Everything will be okay"

He reassured me in the sweetest voice as he quickly took out his phone and started calling the cops.

This is it, I'm finally safe.

I hesitantly looked around and noticed that there were other people too in the store buying groceries, so many people were here that means I was in a safe place. I looked at the man infront of me again as he told the police to come over and rescue me just then I heard the sound of tire screeching.

I looked out only to find jungkook coming towards me as he harshly slammed his car's door, his eyes showed nothing but pure rage.

I took few steps back in pure horror, my heart raced at an unusual speed. The man noticed the fear in my eyes and instantly stood in front of me as jungkook approached us with a gun in his hand.

He entered the store and took a deep breathe and it looked like as if he was trying to control his anger. He closed his eyes and finally spoke in dangerously low voice.

"heaven come here right now and I promise that everything will be alright"

"NO SHE'S NOT COMING WITH YOU! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET CAUGHT RIGHT NOW AND GO TO JAIL THEN YOU SHOULD LEAVE!" The man infront of me yelled at jungkook as he hid me behind him.

"heaven it's the last time I'm warning you" jungkook spoke again as he ignored the man.

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU SHE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE GET OUT-"

A loud scream left my mouth as the old man in front of me collapsed on the floor and the blood oozed out of his head, jungkook shot him.

I slowly moved back from the body as horror took over my mind, my biggest fear was coming true.

I looked at jungkook as he just stood emotionless, showing no regret or mercy. I looked behind him as many black cars stopped in front of the store and so many men came out of the cars dressed in all back and all of them were hiding their faces with caps and masks. One of them approached jungkook and bowed at him.

"kill everyone inside, make sure no one comes out alive" he ordered them and all of them went in.

No, I can't let this happen! I ran towards Jungkook and begged him "p-please don't do this I'm sorry, please stop them jungkook. I-It's all my fault" I cried hysterically.

He looked at me and placed his thumb on my cheek, wiping my tears away "you should be more worried about what I'm going to do with you" he spoke harshly.

Cryings of people and loud sound of gunshots filled the whole place, a women came running towards us with her child in her hands and I watched jungkook raising his gun at them "no, n-no you can't do this" I spoke out of fear as I tried to grab his hand but nothing stopped him.

I watched the woman's and her child's body collapsing on the floor, all I could see was blood. He shot them both, he didn't even showed mercy towards the young child. What a monster.

After few minutes his men came back announcing that everyone in there was dead.

"burn down this place" he commanded and they all nodded. Was killing everyone not enough that now he have to burn this place?

Terror seized my entire body, terror that no one can understand who has not experienced it. Even the screams in my throat were frozen. Only my pounding heart, and my quiet sobs, said that I was still alive.

I started taking few steps trying to get away from him as my body wasn't allowing me to run, I was way too petrified to even think straight.

Jungkook started approaching me, he harshly grabbed my arm and dragged me towords his car. He pushed me inside the car and slammed the door close not caring if I was hurt or anything.

My hands shook and tears rolled down my cheeks as I looked at the burning store, looking absolutely gruesome and vile, something out of a horror movie. I couldn't get that horrible image out of my head of the dead bodies and how it looked.

Jungkook got inside the car, I glanced at him and he looked so angry. Now it was my turn to face wrath.

"STOP FUCKING CRYING" he screamed at me. I tried to stop, I really did, but I kept thinking more and more about it and the image didn't leave my head and so my tears just kept escaping.

I covered my face with my hands, crying in to them as he kept yelling at me, calling me every single bad name there was. I just cried, I cried because of what I had just witnessed.

I cried because I knew I was in trouble and lastly, I cried because I knew all those people died because of me. This is how my life is going to be? there was no way out and this was my world shattering in to tiny pieces, no way of piecing them together again because even if I did manage to escape this monster I'd say, I'd still be traumatised towards everything. I just cried, that's all I could do.
