Turning Point

Near the cave Ashoka sat at the edge of a ridge deep in meditation to clear her mind.....Ventress and Feral continued training near the cave........ Ashoka took a deep breath in as the warm sun rays touched her skin , listening to all the grass flow in the wind and chirps of birds in the distance......she listened as each of Ventress's feet and Feral's feet hit the earth below........ Ashoka felt another presence move swiftly and quietly.... quiet enough to be missed by most......... Ashoka felt a hand pick up her hand off her knee and a gentle kiss seconds later...... Ashoka opened her eyes to see Maul crouched in front of her holding her hand in his, staring at her with bright gold eyes.... Ashokas eyes trailed noticing Maul missing his shirt her eyes followed all the unique markings along his body...... mauls lips curled into a small smirk "am I interrupting my lady" he said in a low deep voice..... Ashoka blushed "no just clearing my mind...... i was wondering if you were ok tho........ you seem conflicted." Maul took Ashoka's other hand in his free one pulling her up as he stood up.... he remained quiet as he began to wrap his arms tightly around Ashoka, one hand cradling her head and the other tightly wrapped around her waist.... a few seconds went by before Ashoka felt his emotions..... she felt his pain his vulnerability she felt his anger but not anger that most had felt...... his was engineered, manipulated, taught...... ingrained so deep into him it ruled every fiber of his body, but it wasn't his own will...... Mauls grip loosened and he pulled away slightly, making eye contact with Ashoka once more... " I know showing emotions are not my forte, but I know you can see inside my mind...... the only being who can.... I know you see how I truly feel about you thru all my walls that try to hide it."...... Ashoka let out a small smile "I understand Maul, and i do see you the real you." Ashoka ran her hand along Mauls face before lifting her head up planting a kiss on his lips Maul smiled as she pulled away before leaning in and returning a passionate kiss biting down on Ashoka's lip.... Ashoka let out a small whimper as she started to taste her blood from the inside of her lip... Maul continued his passionate kiss running his tongue along the inside of her lip tasting her blood letting out a deep grown "mhhhmmm, you do really taste good my lady." Ashoka giggled "I sure hope so because I like your fancy tongue work." She said before giving him a mischievous wink before heading over to Feral and Ventress ....... "your getting better Feral" Ashoka said crossing her arms with a satisfied look on her face "we should go hunting for your crystal soon"........... Feral smile lit up on his face.... "I wonder what color ill get since im not being traditionally trained" Ashoka giggled "the exciting part since we aren't necessarily training you to be a jedi or sith because you have no allegiance to either"..... Maul walked up behind Ashoka wrapping one arm around her waist as he stood next to her..... Ventress turned to face them "I guess an apology is in order for my sarcastic behavior." She said......... Maul raised an eye brow "no its not just don't threaten my brother or my Lady and your head will remain attached to your body" Maul then turned giving Ashoka a kiss on her horn before heading back into the cave...... Ashoka stepped closer to Ventress " its ok I know everyone feels a bit out of place right now a lot has happened I fear the worst Isn't over."  Ventress smiled "yea your probably right not to mention someone already has tried to
Kill you and no one knows I still exist.... I want to try to keep it that way for as long as I can." Ashoka smiled "I understand for the most part I am a ghost too we shall see how long we can stay hidden from the empire" Ashoka then turned and headed towards the cave..... Ashoka walked up to Maul was sitting "Morai came to you didn't she?"..... Maul lifted his head " ye...yes she did and she transformed into her humanoid form before touching my forehead and putting me out for hours."  A puzzled look fell across Ashoka's face " I wonder why?...... she always does things with a purpose but she will not tell you the future only give you advice on how to proceed." Maul looked into Ashoka's eyes " she said you would help release me of my chains........ I don't understand what she meant by that....... then everything went black." Ash sat down next to Maul and rested her head on his shoulder " I dont know either im sure we will figure it out."..... a familiar voice came from a few feet away "what just happened?..... the goddess of light said what???..." Ashoka turned her head to see Ventress making her way towards them. Ashoka paused for a moment "well i now know you heard but what do you think it means."..... Ventress walked over to stand in front of Maul and Ashoka " Im not sure but I have an idea......... do you remember how Savage was turned into such a great killer over night?...... well rage receptors I guess you could classify as chains..... because when i told Savage to kill Feral he didn't want to do it but he was ultimately bound to obeying me.... what if those are the ones she's talking about?" Ashoka looked at Ventress. "are you trying to tell me I make him less angry?" She said with a playful smile jabbing Maul in the side with her elbow.......Maul looked at Ashoka "I think Assaj is right.... you make me feel calmer than I usually do." Feral walked over and sat down next to his brother. "as much as attachments are forbidden Maul you are the only family I have left it would be nice to have you around a while longer instead of possibly getting yourself killed by the empire ."   Maul looked over at his brother  "as long as the empire rules the galaxy no one is safe."
