"jump."

the girl's eyes widened. no words came out of her mouth, she could only afford to walk steps back.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!"

jiyeon finally uttered. jungwon on the other hand, stood still while cocking his head sideways, signaling her to jump as the train was still in front of them.

"i don't have my wallet nor pocket money too! so jump!"

"i will kill you for this." she groaned and stomped her foot. she interlocked her fingers with his, making it as tight as she can; she took a deep breath and jump off the bridge.

the lass closed her eyes. fear took over once she felt her feet off the ground, trying her best not to scream or let panic take care of her entire intensity.

"jungwon? did i do it? are you here? gosh, i'm not liking this, please be here." she spoke, eyes still not opening.

"i'm here jiyeon, i'm here." he answered, pulling her wrist to take her in his embrace, reassuring that she's fine.

jiyeon let out a big sigh, grasping both of her hands on his uniform, as if she lost him and she'd had to take the lead on her own.

the train's pace went faster, wind slightly pushing both.

"this isn't over yet jiyeon, don't let your cool down or else— nevermind. just keep on holding my hand." he paused to make sure he wasn't scaring her.

"okay, in three.."

"two.."

"one...GO!" he ran and jumped to the ground, knees met with the green grass.

jiyeon panicked. her soul was still processing how she even got to land on top of the train in the first place. unfortunately, her hand slipped from jungwon's once he jumped.

"shit. jungwon! what am i supposed to do?!"

she kept running and running to remain across jungwon. the boy tried to catch up, but the train was a thousand times faster than him.

it came to the point where she was reaching the end, she looked back to jungwon yet he only kept nodding his head to tell that she needs to get off the train.

the girl kept shaking both of her hands, she didn't lose the stare with jungwon, though the feeling of horror started to fill in.

"calm down. just jump, don't think that you'll slip; i will be here to catch you." he let out both of his arms, signing that she should jump now.

"i-i.."

"you trust me right? so jump!"

jiyeon stood back on her two feet and molded her hands into a fist. she took a few tramps back and ran to jump.

she yelled her lungs out, her legs kept moving as if she was riding a bicycle while she was on the air.

"hey, you're safe. you did it!" he spoke sternly as he brushed her messed up hair.

"i'll kill you yang jungwon." jiyeon suddenly attacked, pushing him down to the grass and unstopingly punched his chest.

"calm down woman, geesh!" he tumbled backwards, escaping from her. without wasting a second, he stood up and ran, jiyeon immediately chasing after.

"get back here you punk, i'm not done with you!"

she chased him right here and there, both not stopping. jungwon's tiny giggles mixed well with jiyeon's endless laughs. for once it a while, they were both in a bright mood.

"got you now." she spoke under her breath and ran towards his frame. the girl bumped her face onto his back when jungwon suddenly stopped. she shook her head and walked towards his side, peeking his one and only facade.

"nice view huh?" jiyeon chuckled, crossing her arms together. never taking her eyes off of him.

"never knew the city looked so...nice." he answered.

right now, they were on a cliff that showed the town they live in. the scenery was breathtaking, no one dared to break the silence.

"this is why i wanted to get out of there. i've been stuck in this same damn city for my entire life, this is my second time leaving it." she let out a painful laugh and headed down.

there was a tree behind them with a tiny swing hanging on it builded for two people maximun. jiyeon occupied a sit and clapped her hands together, feet pushing and pulling the swing.

"second time?"

"you'll understand it soon, just a few more dates left." she flashed a smiled and patted the seat beside her, telling him to rest there after everything that had just happened earlier.

"w-wait so you're willing to share?" he stuttered to his sentence as he sat back down next to her.

"yes, if i trusted you with my literal life, what would hurt if i tell you one secret?"
