"I miss you Sam."

"Robby I- I miss you too, but you know I'm with Miguel now."

"Not like that I mean- I just... miss you."

"I get it, I do, but it would be way too risky for us to hang out now. You know that."

[ Miguel's POV ]

Mr. Larusso had been lecturing me on how to properly take care of a car, but he was interrupted by an important phone call so I decided to head back inside and say goodbye to Sam before I made my way home.

I checked in her room, then the kitchen, but couldn't find her. After a little more searching I heard her voice coming out from the back patio. I walked in, but stopped when I realized she was taking a phone call. I took out my phone to text her goodbye instead because I really needed to leave, but then I heard something odd.

"Robby if everything works out we can just hang out again after the tournament, I'm sure everyone here will be a little iffy at first, but it'll all be fine trust me."

Robby? Why was she talking with Robby? She was quiet for a little bit, but then started speaking again.

"Yes I know you're worried about her, but you can't tell Tory about this. She's a complete Cobra Kai and I don't care if she apologizes. I don't want her anywhere near us."

I continued to listen.

"Robby don't worry I know the note like the back of my hand! Your guy's... covered and I... tell Johnny... you're not with Cobra Kai and want to..."

I wasn't able to make out everything she was saying because she was talking very softly, but I could hear bits and pieces. Eventually, Sam started speaking much quieter though and I couldn't make out anything. I was standing there in shock at what I had been able to hear though.

Robby's not actually with Cobra Kai? They have a plan? What the hell was going on.

I heard Sam hang up the phone and I ran out before she could spot me. I quickly texted her that I couldn't find her so I just headed out, but I'd talk to her soon.

I got into my car and my thoughts were eating away at my brain.

So this whole time I had been suspicious of Sam she was hiding something. Of course.

When I got to a red light I did the only thing that I could think to do and texted Hawk. I needed to talk to someone and I knew he wouldn't snitch if I happened to lose control and blurt everything out.

Pigeon Brother🤪😎

Miguel: Come to my house in 20. I need to talk to you.

Hawk: got it

*back to the present*

"And you're positive that's what she said?"

"Well a lot of it was hard to hear because she was whispering, but that part I'm 110% sure on man."

"Woah..." he said in disbelief.

"I know."

"Well what even is their plan do you know?"

"No. I heard her say Johnny's name and maybe her dad, but I couldn't really tell."

"Some spy you are," Hawk said, rolling his eyes.

"Ok well it's not like I went in there expecting my girlfriend to be secretly teaming up with her ex boyfriend."

"Fine, fine, but either way what are we gonna do about it? Should we talk to Sensei?"

"No, no she made it seem like this plan wasn't going down for a little while so I'm assuming they don't know yet."

"Well this sucks."

"Tell me about it."

Hawk and I both fell back onto my bed huffing and staring at the ceiling. I had absolutely no idea where we were going to go with this. It was probably a dick move to tell Hawk, but I needed to spew my guts or else I might've exploded.

"You wanna spend the night, maybe we could come up with like... a plan?"

"A plan... to figure out... their plan?"

"Sorry. Stupid idea."

"Nah it's cool. I'll stay if you buy me a coffee in the morning though."

"Awww Hawkkkk, our second date?"

"Shut up loser," Hawk said, punching me in the shoulder.

"Whatever you say," I said heading into my bathroom and blowing him a kiss.

I wanted to stay positive, but I couldn't stop thinking about how Sam had been lying to me. Who knows how long it's been happening and I didn't even know what was ACTUALLY going on. I knew I'd have to confront Sam at some point, but I didn't know when. We were finally back on good terms and Robby had to come in and screw it all up again. I don't know how she could trust this guy when he's the one who put me in a coma, but I just had to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they actually had a good plan, and maybe it would finally take down Cobra Kai, but I wouldn't be sure until I talked to Sam.

I got into my bed, with Hawk snoring on a cot on the ground and saw that Sam had texted me goodnight like she normally did.

Miyagi-Boo😘

Sam: Goodnight M, love you💞

Miguel: Night, Sam.
