HA! I am being different and doing Thalia instead of Percy (sorry if anybody likes him, but Freddy is a total jerk in this story)! Sorry if I put Pinecone Face in my stories to much... But, like I said in the first chapter, she is my favorite! Remember you can give me suggestions or feedback any time if you have ideas!

Frederick Chase:

After Annabeth got kidnapped all those years ago, she agreed to come back home. I knew that with me and my family, she would be home and it would be the best place for her to be. Only a couple of weeks into the arrangement, our house was trashed from a monster attack and when we blamed Annie, she threw a fit and left.

I don't understand why she can't just listen to her father, but I have decided that I will finally convince her to come home. I spoke with Helen, who reluctantly agreed to let my baby girl come for the holidays. I called her on the phone that she had, even though I knew de-demi... I don't even want to say the word. Even though most people like her don't have them.

"Annabeth?" I asked when she picked up.

"Hello, Frederick. What do you want?" She asked bitterly. I don't know why she would speak to me like that because all I have ever done is been the most providing and caring father for her.

"Helen and I miss you and want you to come home to your family for the holidays!" I told her and knew she would be jumping with joy at my gracious invitation.

"I am home! I am already with my family!" Annabeth replied coolly.

"Please, Annie! We miss you!" I begged. How dare she say that the stupid camp was her home and that those freaks were her family! I am her father and if I had any say she would never get to see them!

There was silence on the other end before Annabeth responded. "...I'll come. But only if I can bring a friend! Deal?" Annabeth bargained.

I considered the offer. I wanted to see her... but those friends are all bad influences... "Fine. But just one!" I finally agreed and the end of the line went dark. My daughter was finally coming back to me!

I planned for the entire time that she would be there to be perfect. My work friend, his wife and their wonderful son would be staying over and I knew that him and my daughter would be the perfect couple. Just like her, he had the highest grades and was handsome with his neat brown hair and bright green eyes.

The boy's name was Conner and I knew that unlike her current friends, he would be a great influence on Annabeth. He was coming before her so that I could go over the plan with him to get my girl to fall for him. You see, I had shown the family a picture of Annabeth and Conner had immediately fallen for her.

Once Annabeth became his girlfriend, she would stop hanging out with those messy lunatics that she currently calls friends. Not only will my girl stay here to be with her boyfriend, but she will realize that her real home is with Helen, the boys, and I.

I heard a knock on the door and rushed to get it. The boys were in their shared room playing a video game so I could open the door without worrying about looking bad in front of my co-worker and his family. "Hello, Grant! Good to see you Allie, Conner!" I greeted as I gestured for them to enter.

They said hello and we started to discuss the plan of action for Conner to steal my daughter's heart. The sleeping arrangements would put Conner in Annabeth's room with her, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan in the guest room, and Annie's friend on the couch. In the morning, Annabeth and Conner would go to the mall and I would keep tweaking small things like that.

The doorbell rang and Conner straightened up to look his best as I raced to open it. I looked to see a punk looking girl standing at the door where Annabeth should have been. She had spiky black hair with streaks of blue, electrifying blue eyes, and wore silver hunting gear.
