Amity's POV;

I opened the door quietly and let her in before me.

I smiled turning the reading lamp on.

She chuckled and peeked out the window.

"Only the reading lamp, wouldn't want anyone finding one t we're in here now wouldn't we?" She said.

I stifled a laugh and gestured her over to take a seat by the light.

Walking over to see where I got the volumes tucked in, I used a small light spell in one hand while looking around.

"Y'now, Amity, I missed you."

I smiled.

"I missed you too," I replied.

"But... I don't think we're meant for each other anymore."

I flinched right after my hand was barely through grabbing the sixth volume.

I glanced over my shoulder and saw her looking down on her hands.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, my hand already holding the volume of choice as the light in my other hand began to slowly disperse.

She didn't answer me at all.

"Luz, what do you mean by that?" I asked.

"Luz," I called.

"Luz, what do you mean by that?" I asked again.

She stood up, a sigh escaping her frowning lips when she stood in front of me.

The light in my hand was gloomy.

"Amity, I..." She began.

Is her tongue with a cat?

"I love you, that I know but can you love me back if you knew who I really was?" She asked.

I frowned.

"W... Why..? Why are you asking me that? You gave me your memories of when you were in Hell Grounds." I said.

"Listen, there's so much that you don't know about me... And everything else in the Boiling Isles, Amity." She said.

I clutched the book tightly.

Why is she being like this?

Why is she suddenly..??

"Why are you going away again?" I asked.

She flinched and immediately fell into a look of devastation.

"You don't know me at all, Amity."

I took a step back when she gave me this... This smile.

That smile.

I hate it.

Stop it.

Stop that.

You can't give me that smile.

"Stop that!"

She sighed.

"Amity, can you really trust some of the memories I gave you when I was pulled into it?" She asked.

I dropped the book with a thud and the light seemed to go dimmer than before now.

"Why are you pulling yourself away again?" I asked.

She frowned, finally, she got rid of that smile.

"Amity,"

I looked down.

Everything can't go back to the way it was, huh?

"Everything can't go back to the way it was, huh?"

"Amity!"

I chuckled under a hand and lowered my other hand down, causing the light spell to finally disperse completely.

I hate you.

I hate you.

"I hate you."

Her eyes widened.

I couldn't care less as my tears fell without consent.

"Amity, you only like the kind Luz, I know you told me you like the 'me' me kind but that can't happen if I wanted to be with you." She said.

I clicked my tongue.
