19. 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘐𝘕𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘕𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘗

"You all have your costumes, right?" Aizawa asked, sounding tired as usual, we were at the train station. We just picked up our hero costumes and we were all ready to head off to the agencies that we picked. Aizawa then warned us all to behave and sent us off.

I looked around to see Tokoyami confused on what direction to head in. "Tokoyami! Over here!" I waved, he walked over to me. "Here you are, we should get going. We don't want Hawks to be angry at us for being late." He shivered, I laughed at his statement. "Oh don't worry, knowing my brother he's probably going to be the one who's late." I reassured.

As we stood together waiting for the train to come we talked about anything and everything, he told me all about his interests and I told him about mine. We bonded over a few bands and artists that we both listened to and talked about the movies that we both liked. He was a pretty chill person.

When we finally boarded the train I talked to him about how it's like working with my brother and gave him some tips. "I'm so glad to have someone else with me on this internship, thank you Miss Takami. I truly appreciate your efforts to help me." He said politely. "It's not a problem, besides, working with my brother alone for too long can get pretty irritating. And you can call me y/n, we're partners now so there's no need for formalities."

Tokoyami nodded and we went back to our conversation about a certain movie ending that made the both of us confused. The conversation stretched out until we finally reached the agency, I led Tokoyami inside where we asked the secretary where Keigo was.

"He's upstairs in his office.." She muttered while typing something on her computer, Tokoyami and I thanked her and headed towards my brother's office. I slammed the door open and my brother jumped from his seat. "Jesus y/n..." I rolled my eyes with a smirk. "That's what you get for barging into my room every morning."

He grumbled and sat back down, he motioned for us to take a seat and we complied. I noticed Tokoyami fidgeting with his jacket buttons nervously so I smiled at him. "It's alright.." I whispered to him. He nodded and calmed down.

"Alright kiddos, let's start the internship with some nice morning workouts. I want to see you two fight." He explained, Tokoyami and I nodded along and listened to everything he said. "And then we will be going on a night patrol in Hosu together, all clear?" He finished, we both nodded.

We walked towards the agency gym with our hero suits in hand, the agency gym was much bigger than the private gym Shoto and I fought in. When we got to the gym Tokoyami cleared his throat. "Uhm Hawks, sir, what should we do with our hero suits?" He asked. "I want you to fight one round with and one round without the suits. Starting without." Keigo answered.

When we finished changing to our training clothes we walked over to the hand-to-hand/Quirk combat room. When we were both inside the ring Keigo lowered the protective glass down, it was basically a glass box that covered the ring and was almost unbreakable. "What's that?" Asked Tokoyami. "It's a shield, we use it when the people inside the ring are using their quirks during a fight to protect the viewers and to not damage the gym." I explained.

"Alright, you can use your quirks but if it gets too extreme i'll stop the fight. Winner is the person who keeps the other down for five seconds." He stated, Tokoyami and I got ready to fight. As soon as Keigo said 'go' Dark shadow appeared, ready to attack.

From what I learned and saw during the sports feastival, specifically when we had a brief interaction during the cavalry battle, is that it's pretty hopeless to try dodging Dark shadow. So instead I opted to either take him head on or surprise him with light attacks by reflecting light off my wings.

As Dark shadow headed towards y/n he was met with the glass wall as y/n went under him and charged towards Tokoyami. Tokoyami jumped away expecting y/n to hit the glass, but instead she propped her feet on the wall and pushed herself forward towards him instead.

Before he could blink, he was met with a punch. Tokoyami doubled over, the punch had caught him off guard and he cursed himself for it. y/n however was ruthless with her quick attacks and didn't give him a chance to recover and summon Dark shadow. She knew that Tokoyami's quirk was powerful and she didn't want to take any chances.

Tokoyami's head was pounding from all the punches and every time he tried to summon Dark shadow he was met with another punch. While Tokoyami was getting overwhelmed by all her punches, y/n took the chance to sweep him from his feet and pin him down whilst he was still too hazy to summon Dark shadow.

"y/n wins!" Announced Keigo after five seconds. Tokoyami grunted as y/n helped him up, y/n smiled nervously and apologized for hurting him. He shook it off and congratulated her for winning.

The second round went pretty much the same, Tokoyami got overwhelmed by punches and got himself pinned to the ground again. He brushed off his hero costume. "You did better than last time.." y/n complimented trying to lighten up the mood.

"Alright, you guys did great!" Hawks announced as he lifted the glass barrier. "Tokoyami, you shouldn't rely on your quirk so much. y/n, your attacks are great, keep it up." He advised, he walked up to them and leaned on Tokoyami and y/n's shoulders. "Now that we're done with that, let's go eat before we go on patrol my little hatchlings!" "Call us that one more time and I'll shave your hair while you sleep Keigo." Threatened y/n, Keigo chuckled nervously.

The trio flew across the city, Tokoyami being carried by Hawks, and landed at a chain restaurant. Keigo ordered the food and we ate on the rooftop of the restaurant. "These are some great chicken nuggets... want some?" Keigo asked as he held out his container of nuggets, Tokoyami shook his head no while y/n fished out a chicken nugget and popped it in her mouth.

"Hm, you're right.." She muttered, Keigo nodded. When they were done they flew to Hosu city, Tokoyami still carried by Hawks, and landed on the ground. "Alright, we're gonna split up okay? y/n, you go right, Tokoyami, You take those alleys on the left 'kay? I'll go over there. Don't forget your comms!" He reminded.

The three split up and headed to their positions. As y/n was walking around she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, she frowned as she took out her phone from her pocket. 'Midoriya...? Why did he share his location? Was it an accident?' she thought, her thoughts were interrupted by her brother's voice through the comms.

"There's a Nomu on the loose, be careful and help the civilians." He commanded. y/n's mind clicked. 'what if Midoriya was attacked by Nomu and he needed help?' she thought. y/n flew around and looked for the address that Midoriya sent.

Midoriya on the other hand was barely standing with Shoto next to him and Iida paralised on the ground. Stain smiled at them with that sick smile of his, he knew that they were going to give in soon, they were too tired to fight anymore. But little did he know, the young grey winged hero was headed straight towards him.

Stain took out one of his knives and licked it, he chuckled at the students disgusted and terrified faces. Midoriya silently prayed that someone, anyone, got his message. "Now... who's blood should I taste first..?" He grinned. "How about you, son of Endeavor...?" Sneered the hero killer. Before Shoto could blink, Stain hurled the knife at him.

Shoto closed his eyes and raised his arms defensively expecting the knife to pierce him, but it never did. As he opened his eyes, he saw the knife stuck to the wall with a metal feather pierced through the wooden knife handle. Stain stared at his knife in shock, unable to comprehend what just happened. But the silence brought forward and Stains shock was interrupted by a voice that Shoto knew (And loved) all too well.

"Hi! Thank you for calling y/n's ass beating services, I see that you have a problem here..."
