Despite going to bed so late, Chaeyoung woke up refreshed as the light hit her eyes. Although not groggy in the slightest, though she had a feeling her late night would catch up to her by the early afternoon, there was a sharp pain at the side of her back. Patting the bed in the sore area, her face bunched together as she pulled her phone from under her body. She sighed as she pressed the power button, only to receive a red flashing battery sign. Stretching her limbs, phone in hand, she rolled across her bed to swing her legs over the edge before plugging her phone in to charge.

"Shit," she grumbled, her voice a little croaky in the early morning. Looking back at her bed, her blanket discarded onto the floor sometime during the night and her pillows scattered across the bed.

After her slight moment of confusion, everything else in the morning went much the same as any other day once she had remembered what had happened last night; she brushed her teeth, brushed her hair so it didn't look ratty, got changed into her freshly laundered uniform and quickly ate breakfast downstairs. Her Mum's sedan was already gone after dinner last night, and she could see Jisoo's small hatchback parked awkwardly on the sidewalk, the tail of her car sticking out while the front corner was almost embedded in a fire hydrant on the curb.

Grabbing her phone from her bedside table, still turned off and only semi-charged, she made sure she was quiet as she headed out of the house to not wake Jisoo up, for she was a force to be reckoned with when woken up before midday. The walk to the train station went by quickly, and soon she was sitting on her usual bench on the platform. Finally turning her phone on, she blinked and gently pressed on her tired eyes.

Beside her, the familiar woman with pointed heels and sharp glasses gave her a curious look. She looked the same as she always did, but Chaeyoung could tell she was wondering why she was wearing what had changed since they had last seen each other. When you see someone every day for the past few years and they looked exactly the same every time, it wasn't abnormal to wonder why a sure thing had changed inside that was noticeable on the out.

Lisa was what changed her.

Her phone finally buzzed in her hand as the screen blinked to life, revealing a few missed messages, none of which were from Lisa. Disappointed, she frowned as she opened up the first few messages; one from Jennie saying that she overslept her alarms (all seven of them, she emphasised) and decided to go to school, and another from Mingyu. Replying to Jennie's message quickly, Mingyu's was not as easy to respond to. She stared at the black lettering carefully, reluctant to answer him.

Mingyu - Yesterday, 3:35pm
Hey Chae, are you ok?
Heard you went home early so I
was just a little worried. You seemed
fine before so I don't know what it
could be. Did you eat something off
at lunch?

Mingyu - Yesterday, 4:02pm
There's been a bad bug going around.
You didn't catch it did you?
Want me to bring you meds?
Okay sorry I'm being annoying and you
need your rest. I'm just worried.
Message me when you can :)

She smiled a little at Mingyu's concern, heart warming before beginning to ache with guilt. She liked Mingyu, and enjoyed hanging out with him and talking with him. He was a nice person, studious and gentle, and it was easy being by his side. His kiss wasn't bad either, but that's just it. It just wasn't bad. It didn't make her breathless, it didn't make her crave more, the memory of it didn't catch her off guard when she was lying in her bed at night. It didn't make her feel the same was as Lisa's kiss. She liked spending time with Mingyu, but she wanted Lisa. Want wanted her. She wondered if she just wanted Lisa for her body; she was no fool, she knew Lisa was terribly attractive and oozed sex appeal more than any other being on the face of this earth. But as a person, Lisa was aggravating. She annoyed Chaeyoung as much as she made her want to touch her.
