Getting a call in the middle of a serious conversation was a relief for Chloe. The girl immediately turned around, answering the call, an expectant expression on her face. She obviously expected to be told where her friends had run off, not to be told to head back to her hotel room for a meeting.
'Aren't you going to explain to me where you went? I mean, you can't just call someone and then tell them what to do.' The blonde said, obviously agitated.
'Calm down Chloe. It's all good. I'll explain everything when we're together. A lot of explanation needs to be done. And not just to you, a bit to Lila as well.' Marinette responded.
'What? Are you telling me you're going to let her in on everything?' Chloe asked. She was starting to get very pissed.
'Not everything. Just enough so she won't question us anymore. So come, I'll explain where we went.' The bluenette assured. Chloe had to hold in her groan. She ended the call, ignoring the young CEO and heading back to the hotel.
