Tiara's POV
I can feel the smell of dirt and alcohol, people are watching me like I'm an animal in the zoo, I can't blame them, they are probably asking themselves what a young woman with the appearance of nobility doing here. To be honest I don't know either.
I was walking when I saw a small door in front of me, I read the words on the door, "No one can see the future except her", actually I really hate this place. Just two kinds of people knock at that door: first, the foolish people who think they can learn their future, second the shame of human beings who come here for the auction. I'm from the second category.
I knocked at the door three times suddenly the door opened and I saw a short figure. A woman in her late fifties appeared.
"What do you want?" the woman said angrily.
"Black rose" I replied without wasting a minute I don't have so much time anyway.
The woman narrowed her eyes before saying, "Come in."
I entered and the old woman opened a secret passage for me and I went down the stairs.
With each step, I can hear the chatters louder. When I reached my destination I saw so many people with masks. It's routine here no one shows his face including me that's why I wore a black mask too.
I sat somewhere dark, the last thing I wanted was to attract attention to myself.
The curtains opened and the auction began.
"Ladies and gentlemen now we are going to show the latest products. The rules are clear. the highest bidder wins." Said a fat old man.
I was looking at the wall the whole time I'm not here for any of these so-called products anyway.
"Now the last product, the previous prince of Labuty kingdom." The fat man shouted excitedly.
My eyes wide opened when a young man appeared on the stage. They restricted him with so many chains and a slave collar but that isn't the object of my attention, it was his eyes the most beautiful yet terrifying eyes that I have ever seen.
Soon the bidding began and people started shouting their prices.
"30000 rele." (A/N: Rele is the currency of Scarlet Kingdom.)
"50000 rele."
"10000 rele."
The prices are high but I wasn't going to back down I was here for a purpose.
"500000 rele." I shouted.
Everyone became silent. Good, it was easy. Money always makes everything easy.
"500000 rele one, 500000 rele two, 500000 rele three, sold. Congratulation Ma'am."
I smirked now things going to become interesting.
