two weeks later after Easter holidays
"THAT BLOODY SOD" Captain Flint fumed
"I told him not to bloody drink last night and now he's too hungover to play" he was seething at Andrew Vaisey who apparently had had a last minute bender before their Quiddich match the night before and was out of action with his head in a toilet bowl ergo they were down one chaser.
Flint went out to inform Madame Hooch that they were a player down, he spotted her chatting to Oliver Wood and made his way over, snarling at his opposition
"Madame my teammate is a fu..." he was given a stern look for his language "is an imbecile" he finished "he can't play so we're a player down"
Oliver looked thoughtful "there's always Emerald" muttered to Flint ,making him scoff
"Rubbish ,Emerald doesn't play" he hissed back
Oliver smirked as he waved at her in the stands, to Flint's shock she grinned and waved back as she mouthed "you got this" to him
"Did you say Miss Gaunt can play?" She questioned the two boys
Flint was furious "she is not getting on a broom" he told the ref who ignored him and hovered up to find her.
Oliver shrugged "just want an even match Flint that's all" he raised his hands
"What the hell are you talking about ,an even match? She's never played Quiddich in her life" he seethed
"Ahh but she knows all the rules doesn't she" he grinned knowingly "I think she'll surprise you"
The Slytherin Captain glowered "if she gets hurt I'll be coming after you Wood" he threatened
"That's why you never wanted her on a broom isn't it" he said bluntly "because you don't want her hurt"
"I mean it Wood ,she gets even so much as a scratch and It'll be the dirtiest match you've ever seen"
Woods smirked again "whatever you say Flint" and he marched off
After briefing the team while Emerald changed ,she stepped out into their tent
"Right let's hurt some bloody lions" she joked and the team laughed a few whistling at her in her outfit
Oh bloody hell Nott's gonna kill me Flint groaned inwardly
The referee introduced the Gryffindor team first "its Captain and keeper Oliver Wood, with their chasers Thomas, Bell and Mclaggen, beaters Peakes and Coote and their Seeker Weasley" the gryffindor side cheered and the Slytherins Booed and hissed ,the referee called the other team seeing the players hovering in their positions.
"Then we have the Slytherin Captain and Chaser Marcus Flint, followed by their other chasers, Gaunt and Pucey" Emerald saw Pansy's face in the stands and Emerald winked at her,making Pansy snigger
Madame Hooch carried on "then we have their keeper Montague, beaters Crabbe and Goyle and Seeker Gaunt"
"I want a nice clean fight, no violence" she instructed the two keepers
"He knows the score" Flint seethed and with that they were off
This is going to be a hell of a game

"Bloody hell Em" Flint panted as they reached the changing rooms "where did you learn to fly like that?" He beamed
They had won 210 to 80 and Flint couldn't have been happier.
"Good point..... Em... where did you learn that?" Her brother questioned her and she smirked "from you dear brother" she whispered and he laughed
