"150 million." The arab guy then crossed his arms and sent a flying kiss towards me.

Disgusting.

"200 Million." I coldly replied and countered as Tristan and Von opened our suit cases as well.

"Ohh tough girl. I like you."

The crowd kept on being on awe as tremendous amount of money was on the line. 200 million dollars is basically nothing for Xavierheld.

"250!"

"Make it 300!!"

The arab guy smirked at me as I stared at him and slowly took a sip over the glass goblet after I threw the last price.

Everybody inside the room were holding their breaths, not even a sound of a falling needle was heard as the auction master began to count down.

"Going once!"

The arab guy basically leaned back and sat comfortably as if nothing is really happening. Tristan and Von was both giving me the specific kind of look.

"Going Twice."

Everything was getting intense as our eyes locked on theirs, as if we were all reading the next move. I know this man isn't ordinary.

"Going Thrice!!!"

"Looks like money cant settle this thing—"

Before even the final statement, guns of high caliber was put out and the two sides pointed their guns on each other individual's head.

I remained calmed as Von and Tristan pointed their guns over the said arab guy and his 3 men. The same goes for the other side towards us, their fingers getting ready to pull the trigger and blast our heads with one wrong move.

Looks like we have the same thing running in our heads : KILL ONE ANOTHER

The said guy then smirked at me, as if trying to provoke and seduce me at the same time. Screams and Panic filled every inch of the said room as people fled away.

The situation was so strong one wrong move from each other's side will result to death.

This man isn't just a normal ugly bastard.

He kept on smirking onto me and didn't even flinched his eyes and smirked more towards me. His smirks were familiar, as if I had seen them before.

So familiar that it made me uncomfortable.

LA CHINESCA LOUNGE PARKING LOT

MEXICALI, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO

PLANET EARTH 22:00 (10:00PM)

Matthew's Point of View

A tired and anxious sigh just basically escaped my breath as I watch the seconds pass by my digital wrist watch. The parking lot seems to be as silent as the dead of the night.

I readily threw my exhausted back at the car seat. Its been 2 hours since the team went inside to execute the mission.

And I'm here just sitting my ass off inside an emergency getaway car, waiting for everybody when I should also be involved inside and save Stella.

Fucking damn it.

I didn't even mind the short pain as I slapped my arms on the car's maneuver wheel out of extreme frustration.

This is hopeless. I'm starting to even realize why the hell Admiral Maris chose me for this job, when clearly, I have no definite functions on this team aside from damn fucking paper works!!!

This is a job mismatch.

My self-nagging suddenly came into a halt when my sight caught something strange. My eyes followed a 5 car convoy driving away from the main building.

From the looks of it, those cars aren't like ordinary. I sat straight and glared on the direction of the convoy.

Leaving on such an early time, huh.

I immediately took my phone out and opened the holographic screen. There was a single message that was registered.

An Unknown number, with the last 3 digits of 523.

"Asshole being anxious on the other table."

With the weird message I managed to read, I flipped to close my phone. I wasn't even able to help myself but to giggle.

Seriously. Even on the toughest weird situation, he still managed to joke around.

The reflection of my purple eyes were seen upon gazing through the rear mirror. I kept on staring at them as I flip open my phone and dialed over the number keys.

I can feel the coldness of the metal touching my ear, I began to hear ringing tone on the line as I wait for a certain person to pick it up.

At this point, you failed to fulfill your role as a husband. You have no rights on her from now on. I must take over at any cost.

This is clearly, a Job mismatch, indeed.

The ringing tone was left unanswered.
