ARABELLA

Cooper told me that I got detention for being late, even if it wasn't my fault. I wonder if detention is fun? Would Axel be ashamed that I got detention on my second day? Eh, too late to be worried about that now.

I waved Cooper goodbye because he has to go meet a teacher so I decided to walk the halls, maybe find a certain yummy boy. Looking down, I noticed my bandaid had come off. But- But Kade gave me it. Maybe I could go replace it and then he won't be angry. Yes, good idea.

I saw the nurses office a couple of doors in front, they must have a bandaid in there. Skipping to the door, I knocked but received no reply so I just entered and was met with emptiness. I'll just wait.

I was super excited about tonight. Me, Axel and Charlie were going out to the diner. All three of us have a certain day of each month where we go out. I usually beg them to take me to the local carnival or the park but it was extremely cold seeming as it's winter. Also, I get to see aunt Tabitha, she owns the diner so free milkshakes.

Swinging my legs back and forth, I was startled when a loud bang echoed throughout the room, bringing tears to my eyes. I was too afraid to look up until I saw the same muddy black boots from yesterday crouch down in front of me. KADE!

Picking my head up, I looked straight into his chocolate brown eyes. I really do love his eyes.

"Are you okay baby?" My belly flutters at the term 'baby'. No one else has ever called me that apart from him and I hope he keeps calling me it too. Trying not to show how frightened I was, I looked at his handsome face and said, "mhm. You just scared me but my bandaid came off my knee so I came to ask for another. But there's no nurse." I hope he wasn't angry that I lost it, hopefully, he understands it was an accident.

Nodding his head, he patted my knee and brushed my under eyes before going to search for a bandaid. I had to hold in my giggle due to how funny he looked when he was focusing on bandaging me. He was so cute!

I'm not sure why, but he brushed my short hair behind my ear. I felt guilty when I saw his knuckles were bloody. Why was he concerned over my knee when he must be in so much pain. He told me it didn't hurt but I think he's just trying to be brave. So being the great human I am, I rushed him to sit down in my previous seat and searched the office for all of the medical supplies I will need. After dropping a couple of things and tripping over my untied shoelace, I finally found a few lotions and bandages. I think that's all I need.

Pouring the alcohol on, I expected him to flinch or say a naughty word, but he didn't I looked up to see him staring at me. Why is he staring at me? I hope I don't have ketchup on my cheeks again. What if he thinks I'm not pretty and doesn't want to talk to me anymore.
