Allys pov

I was working all day, articles, drawings, and a book proposal, having a stress fracture in my ankle from dancing wasn't slowing me down though. "I've brought reinforcements." Ben said while walking in holding coffee. "Ah Thank you!" I said while taking the coffee.

He kissed my temple and said "Why are you staying up so late anyway?" "Work and some other things." I said while pulling up my book proposal. He chuckled and said "Like?"

"A book proposal. I got a really good idea for a book on our wedding day. Happy almost 6 month aniversary by the way. And anyways I just started working on it but I'm really excited." I said, smiling.

"Oh my god babe! That's amazing!" he said to me. I giggled as he hugged me tightly. "I know! I'm really excited about this!" I said as he kissed my cheek. "By the way Andrew and his boyfriend Scott want us to go out with them for drinks and I said yes."

"ooh well sounds fun. When is it?" Ben asked. "Tomorrow I figured we would go to a bar for at least one drink then we would come home and I could work on this book some more." I said while closing my laptop. "Well I'll see if I can make it." he said.

"Perks of being married to a broadway star." I said while walking to our bedroom. "Mhm" he mumbled while following me.

We got into our bed and watched some tv. Ben was drifting off to sleep. "Go to sleep" I whispered. "I'm fine." he mumbled. I kissed his cheek and said "Goodnight Benny boy." "I haven't heard that one in a while Al." he said, smiling.

"Well it's making a comeback Benji." I said. He kissed my cheek. "Say goodnight Gracie." (if you know you know) "Goodnight Gracie." he responded. I kissed his cheek and slowly started falling asleep myself, his arm wrapped around my stomach.

-the next day-

I woke up before ben and went to my desk. I opened my laptop and edited some of my book proposal before I sent it to a publisher. Writing a book has always been one of my dreams, but unfortuneately that meant that I should probably hang up my pointe shoes.

"So you're gonna stop dancing?" Ben said from behind me. I turned around in my chair facing him, "Yeah I just want to focus on the book and plus I can't deal with all these stress fractures. They suck." I said. "Okay well you know whatever you do I love you. I always will." he said.

I smiled and pulled him in for a kiss. "I love you too Benji." I said. "Breakfast?" he asked. "Yes I'm starving!" I said. He smiled and then walked to the kitchen.

I followed him, "What are we doing for breakfast?" I asked him. "French toast?"

"Ooh yes." I replied. A couple weeks ago Ben and I had a pregnancy scare which wouldn't be so bad since we're married but still, we aren't ready yet. We're only 24 and 26.

Of course having kids is something I want to do but it's still way too early.

After breakfast Ben went to work and I also went to work. I couldn't think of anything besides my book proposal so once I had finished my articles I worked on my book proposal. I spent about 20 minutes on my book proposal until I sent it in.

I wouldn't be hearing back for a couple of days so I didn't get my hopes up. "Bye Ally." one of my co-workers said. "Bye Sherry." I said while walking out smiling.

SORRY FOR THE OTHER SHORT CHAPTER BUT I'VE BEEN PLANNING MY JULY 18TH CHAPTER ALL DAY. SIX PAGES WORTH OF NOTES AND STUFF FOR THAT CHAPTER.
