Bens pov

Allys birthday

"Hey happy birthday again." you said while on the phone with Ally. "Thank you again." she giggled. "I'm still upset I couldn't be there with you on your birthday." you said. "Ben it's fine! By the way I'm getting on a plane." she said quickly.

"What? What do you mean?" you said. "I'm coming home early to see you perform!" she said. "Really?!" you said excitedly. "Yeah I won't be there until tomorrow night though." she said. "Ah it's fine! I love you so much Ally!"

"I love you too Ben! By the way I found a picture of when Lilah was little and still living with us." she said. "Ooh send it to me please." you said. "Already sent." she said. "Okay so I'm performing at the "Broadway Sings Justin Timberlake in two days." you said while checking the date.

"I'll be there for it babe." she said. "Ah I have to go I'm about to board the plane." "Okay I'll see you tomorrow bye Ally." you said. "Bye I love you." she said. "Love you too. See you tomorrow." you said.

She ended the call.

Okay so that was a close call. "Hey Kara you still there?" you said. "Yup still here and very bored!" she added. You laughed and said "Sorry! I didn't know she was gonna call." You were on a facetime call with Kara about to ask her permission to propose to Ally.

"It's fine what did you call me for?" she asked. Here it goes "You know I love Ally. I love her more than anything in the world. She's my bestfriend and the love of my life. Kara, I want to ask her to marry me, if it's okay with you." you said.

Kara sqeauled and said "Yes! Hell yes! Ask her, ask her, ask her!" "I can't yet she's not even here. Plus, I have a plan already." you said. "Ah oh my god! What's your plan I want in?" she said very excitedly.

"I want to propose on December 11th." you said. "On your aniversary? Oh that's so cute!" she said. "Yeah our second year aniversary. I wrote a song last year for her birthday that I want to play when I ask. I don't have a location yet but we still have three months and three days until then." you said.

"Rochestor! You can do it there! That's where she grew up and you can go there as a vacation thing so she doesn't suspect anything and then you can ask! Oh and theres a beach she loves going to there!" she said. "That's perfect! Also I really want you to be there when I ask. You're her bestfriend and I know she'd love it."

Kara smiled and said "Of course I'll be there future brother-in-law!" You smiled and said "Okay thank you!" "Ah you're gonna be married to my sister!" she said. "Hopefully!" you said. "Okay but just so you know she's not a very emotional person. So if she doesn't cry when you ask her don't think anything of it." she said.

"Noted" you said while playing with the ring in her hand. "Do you have a ring yet?" she asked. You showed her the ring and she smiled. "It's perfect she's gonna love it Ben!" "Thanks Kara." you said.

"By the way can you ask your dad? I don't have his number." you said. "Yeah for sure! They've already been talking about you and Ally. They love you!" she said.

The two of you talked for another while before Kara had to go.

Allys pov

Your plane just landed. You were in Rochestor last week for your birthday and Ben couldn't go since he had to work.

You walked in the apartment with your suitcase. "I'm back!" you said. Ben ran over to you, "Hey! Ugh I missed you!" he said while hugging you tightly. "I missed you too!" you said while wrapping your arms around him. He kissed your head and said "I'm really excited about tomorrow!" "I know you are!" you said while walking over to the office.
