Carolynns Birthday!

"I can't believe our little girl is two years old already." I said, making Carolynn 'Birthday pancakes' as she requested. Ben was making eggs and toast for us. "It doesn't seem real." he said. Ozzy was at the door. "Oh, can you let him out?" I asked Ben. "Yup." he said. He let Ozzy out and then came back in to finish breakfast.
"Hungy." Carolynn whined. "I'm coming birthday girl." I said as I put her pancakes on a plate. I kissed her head and gave her her plate. "Thank you mommy." she said, eating her pancaked with her hands. I laughed, "You're welcome, princess." I said. Ben put our plates on the table. "Breakfast's ready, babe." he said. "Ooh thanks babe." I said.
He kissed my temple, "You're welcome darling." he said before kissing my stomach. (Six months pregnant!!) "What do you think baby #2's gender is?" I asked him. "I think it's another girl." he said. "I think- no I know it's a boy." I said. "How much do you want to bet?" he said, a smile coming over his lips. "Twenty bucks- no thirty bucks." I said. "Fine." he said. "Hey remember when Carolynn was two months old and we made a bet on if she and Elliott would just be friends or if they would date as they got older?" I asked. Ben laughed, "Yeah. We probably shouldn't be betting on our daughters and godsons relationship- I mean if they even have a relationship. I still think they're just going to be friends." he said. "I still think they're going to date when they're older." I said.
He chuckled, "Well we still have time." he said, while looking at Carolynn who was still eating her pancakes. "Hopefully. She's growing fast." I said, leaning my head on Bens shoulder.
"Ewiott?" Carolynn said. "Sorry princess, Elliott can't come." Ben said. "Otay." she said. "It's weird how she always behaves." I said. "She barely ever throws fits. The last one was like when she wanted to play with one of the charging plug things." Ben said. "Well we're really great parents." I said. "Yes we are." Ben replied, kissing my temple.
