Chapter 10 YAY

Short chapter because it's only gonna be Allys article and the process of her writing the article so yeah have fun reading.

You walked into the coffee shop and stood at the register. "Oh hi honey are you here for the interview?" Madge said as she walked over to you. She started making your regular drink an iced caramel latte. She handed it to you "Thank you!" you said while pulling out your wallet. "Oh no honey it's on the house" she said while sitting with you at a table.

She smiled at you. "So can I start off by asking you some questions about yours and Henrys lives?" you said while pulling out your little black notebook.

You and Madge talked for thirty minutes.

How did you and Henry meet? "We met in our junior year of collge through some mutual friends and then one day he asked me out on a date. He was incredibly romantic."

Did you always want to open up your own store? "No when I was younger I just wanted to be with Henry!"

When did you start planning 'The old book shop'? (that's what it's called btw) "Twenty eight years ago when Henry and I were 35 years old. He had just gotten laid off from a job and we came up with the idea."

When did you and Henry open up the shop? "We opened it up July third 1992, definitely a date Henry and I will never forget."

Why did you guys decide to make it a coffee and book store? "Well Henry had a lot of old books he had read and I worked at a coffee shop so we decided to combine the two things!"

Why did you pick this location? "Well back then there wasn't as many buildings and there was a nice school a block away for our son so we decided to open the store here."

"Thank you so much for doing this interview with me Madge!" you said while getting up. "Oh it was no problem sweetie. Say hi to Ben for us!" she said. You giggled and said "Say hello to Henry for me please Madge."

She smiled and said "of course" you were looking at a copy of 'Pride & Prejudice' by Jane Austen. "You can take that." she said while handing it to you. "Oh no I couldn't" you said. "Oh c'mon hon you're already giving the store some publicity with your article. Please take it!" she said while putting it into your hands.

"Can I at least pay half price?" you asked with a smile. "No now you should be going honey" she said while walking you out of the store. "Okay okay bye Madge!" you said with a smile. "Bye sweetie!" she said.

You walked over to Bens apartment. You knocked on the door. "Hey how'd the interview go?" he asked while letting you inside. You smiled and said "It was great! I learned so much about Madge and Henry. They have a son Andrews age his name is Scott." ;)

Ben smiled and said "That's good babe! So are you busy?" while taking your hands. "Uh no I have to start on type setting my article tomorrow so I'm free right now hon." you said, smiling.

"I love that new nickname and c'mon let's go then!" he said very excitedly. "Where?" you said. He held your hand and ran out of the apartment with you. When he didn't answer you said "Ben where!" while giggling.

"It's a surprise hon!" he said while taking you to his car.

You smiled and said "You really won't tell me?" while sitting in the passenger seat of the truck Ben rented for something. "I'm not telling you babe." he said while pulling over.

"We're here" he said while parking. You smiled, "Wow this is amazing." you said while walking around. He held your hand and said "I'm glad you like it babe" while opening the trunk which had a bunch of blankets and snacks. This was absolutely perfect.
