Chapter 5

The next day 8:45

Saturday Allisons pov

You woke up early in the morning to some noise in your apartment. What the hell? you thought to yourself as you slipped some shoes on and walked out of your room.

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" you said while pulling your hair up. "Well good morning to you too Ally" Kara said. Kara, Kevin, Jeremy, Tommy, Andrew, Ben, and some other girl were there.

"We're here because we wanted to see if you were okay" Tommy said while walking towards you. You smiled and said "I'm gonna go take a shower bye" while walking back into your room. "Maybe she wants us to follow her" Kara said as you slammed your door. "Or not" Andrew finished.

You took a shower and changed into a black leotard and a white sweatshirt and leggings over it. You walked out of your bedroom again with your hair in a bun.

Everyone was still there. You rolled your eyes and got a water bottle from your fridge. Ben gave you a slight smile as you turned around. Andrew winked at you in a "see he likes you!" kind of way. You smiled back at him and then started walking towards your door after getting your keys.

"Hey where are you going?" Kara asked. "uh to the dance studio?" you said while slipping some shoes on. You winked at Ben and then walked out of your apartment.

Bens pov

"She can't just leave!" Kara said throwing her hands up in the air. "Well she kinda can Kar she's nineteen and has her license" you said while sitting on the living room couch. "Well that was a fail I'm gonna go back to the theater" Jeremy said. Ashley slapped his shoulder and said "No we're staying" and Jeremy reluctantly stayed back which made you laugh.

You and Andrew were in the middle of a conversation when you got a text from Ally. "Why are you smiling?" Jeremy asked while taking some snacks from Allys pantry. You smiled and said "no reason and stop taking things from her pantry!"

Ally: Hey I'm outside of the dance studio you remember where it is right?

Ben: Yeah why are you asking?

Ally: I don't know...just wanted to see if you were up to hang out.

Ben: Yeah I am. I'll be over there in a couple minutes.

Ally: Okay Benny boy I'll be here

Ben: I'm on my way.

"Hey guys I have to go" you said while getting your jacket. Andrew chuckled and said "gonna meet Ally?" You turned your phone off and said "No just photoshoot I need new headshots." "Oh" they said while returning to their activities.

They believed your little lie. You walked out of her apartment and then ran to the dance studio.

Ally was waiting outside her brown hair in a messy bun and her legs crossed. "Hey- god why are you so out of breath?" Ally asked while putting a hand on your shoulder. "I- ran- all- the- way- from- your- apartment" you said between pants.

She giggled adorably and said "C'mon in I'll get you some water Benny boy" while opening the door to the studio. She took your hand and led you inside the studio.

"You know you could've walked or drove-" she started to say before you cut her off "I didn't drive to your place." She laughed and said "Well you still could have called a cab" while handing you a water bottle.

"Thanks" you said while opening the water bottle. She smiled and said "you're welcome Benny boy" you looked down at the floor and said "so I didn't want to bring this up but how have you been since you know what happened?"

Her smile faded and she said "I'm fine really. This is how I cope with things I just try to get over things fast." She sighed and said "I don't want to be the girl who got raped on the backstage of Newsies. I just don't want to dwell on it you know?"

You looked down and said "Yeah I know my brother does the same thing. I do the exact opposite thing though. When I got turned down for a show I really wanted to be in I hid away in my apartment and I only let my brother and my best friend talk to me. I guess if something like that happened now I would let you talk to me too..."

She smiled and then kissed your cheek making you blush. She layed her head on your shoulder and said "Hey I have an idea" with a smile on her face. "Oh really?" you said.

"C'mon get up and I'll show you" she said while pulling you up by your arm. You followed her into one of the 'private lesson' room. She started playing some familiar music.

"So what did you drag me here for?" you asked her. She laughed and said "I memorized the choreography to 'King of New York' and 'Carryin' the Banner' and I wanted to see if we could do it at the same time-"

"You wanted to see who was better right?" you said with a smile. "Well yes I'm very competitive" she said while playing 'Carryin the Banner' "I don't know this dance but I can judge you on it!" you said jokingly.

She laughed and then skipped all the way to 'King of New York' she sang along to the lyrics until the dance section started and let's just say you got your ass kicked.

"You memorized this dance by just watching us? You're incredible Ally!" you said while sitting down on the floor. She smiled and said "Thanks Fankhauser"

She took her hoodie off and played some other music. The music to her new dance. She started dancing after putting her point shoes on. "You're absolutely incredible" you whispered to yourself as she continued dancing along the room.

"Hey so are we still on for that date?" she asked jogging towards you. "Yes of course" you said while walking towards her. "Good" she smiled.

You smiled at her and said "Hey I should go get ready for our date- ugh I love saying that." She laughed and said "You're adorable Fankhauser" to which you smiled. "thanks but anyway I should go home and get ready for our date. Do you want me to walk you home?" you said.

"if you don't mind" she said while putting her vans back on and slipping her point shoes into her backpack. You smiled and said "Okay let's go then."

The two of you left with smiles on your faces. She let her hair down and looked around the streets of New York. "New York is very pretty I can't believe I get to live here now" she said smiling at some of the local theaters. You smiled and held her hand. She looked at you in shock but the look of shock quickly turned into a warm smile. "Well New York is very pretty just not as pretty as you"

She smiled and leaned in closer to you.
