Bens pov
Two weeks ago you and Ally got into a fight. A bad one. You and Ally were walking down the streets and one of her exes came up to the two of you. He smiled at her and you knew that she didn't have any feelings for him but- but jealousy just went over your whole body.
That day you- you had a headache and that's not an excuse for yelling at her when you got home. Her face after you yelled at her sh- she looked so helpless, her smile faded away, her eyes watered. You felt like an idiot she walked out of your apartment and before you could say anything she closed the door.
These past two weeks you felt horrible for yelling at her. You hadn't seen her since then. The only thing you could think to do was go to Kara.
"Hey Kara?" you said as you knocked on the door. "Come in!" she said. You walked in. "oh hey Ben" she said with a soft smile. You softly smiled back at her and said "I know you probably hate me because of-" she cut you off "I don't hate you Ben, I was a little mad at first but I don't hate you" she said with a soft chuckle.
"Really?" you asked. "Yeah Ben we're friends. You were just jealous I get why- I mean Ally's amazing although I'm a little biased since I helped raise her kind of" she said with a laugh. You smiled and said "um so how is she?"
She looked down and said "Well she was pretty messed up at first. I went over to her apartment. She was in her room. You know how when something happens she just acts like nothing happened?" You looked down at your hands and said "Yeah I know..."
She started doing her makeup and said "I went over to her apartment two weeks ago and I found her in her room crying. She told me what happened. She's back from Boston" "Oh- wait I thought she was going home to Rochester?" you said.
"She was there for two days and then she went to Boston and then she went to Connecticut for a week." she said while getting up. "Isn't Harvard in Boston?" you asked. She smiled and said "Yeah she's graduating next year and she wanted to look around the campus. She was thinking about moving there. Oh she took Lilah with her" while showing you her phone.

"So she's back home and she's okay?" you asked. "She's back. She's not 100% there yet but she's getting there. Okay now get out I have to change!" she laughed. You smiled and said "Bye Kara"
Allys pov
So it's been a while.... To catch you up me and Ben broke up two weeks ago...but it was fine I took it pretty hard at first and by that I mean I spent two days crying in my room my only company being Lilah and Kara. The next two weeks you spent traveling with Lilah of course. Rochester for two days, Boston for five, and Connecticut for a week. Those two weeks were incredible besides the fact that you and Ben weren't together anymore.
Besides now you had a really important photography gig for Jeremy and Ashleys wedding. You walked into their wedding venue. "Hey guys!" you said as you ran up to them. "Hey!" Ashley said as she hugged you.
"So what was the last minute thing you guys wanted me here for- oh and by the way I bought like a ton of film for the wedding." you said with a smile. "We want you to sing a duet with someone at our wedding!" they said at the same time.
"Oh with who?" you asked. "Oh well we don't know yet but we're looking. Heres the song we highlighted the parts you sing and we underlined the parts you guys sing together" Jeremy said while handing you two sheets of paper.
Perfect Harmony the lyrics were perfect for them. "So will you do it?" they asked. You smiled and said "Of course! But you guys haven't heard me sing yet." "Oh well we have actually. Kara showed us a video of you singing." Ashley said. "And we think you would be the perfect person to sing the song!" Jeremy said excitedly.
"Oh then of course I'll do it!" you said with a smile. They smiled and said "Thank you!"
After talking for a while and singing the whole song through a couple times you left. Someone was walking towards the wedding venue...that person looked like Ben. What is he doing here? is what any sane person would think...but not you. When you saw his figure coming closer you ran in the opposite direction hoping he wouldn't see. Hoping he wouldn't recognize the girl he once new as his girlfriend. He wouldn't recognize you because you changed your style, you bought some clothes in Connecticut and some in Boston since you threw out almost everything you wore around Ben. Let's just say you only had like three outfits left.
Bens pov
Jeremy and Ashley asked you to come to the wedding venue for something. You didn't ask why, which you should have because who knows what you had gotten yourself into. You didn't ask because you've been so unfocused since you broke up with Ally. She was the love of your life and you broke up with her like an idiot!
There was a girl running she looked familiar but who knows. You walked into the wedding venue and saw Jeremy and Ashley talking. "Hey Ben!" Ashley said with a smile as she walked over to you.
"Hey" you said "So why did you guys ask me to come?" Your personality had completely changed since the breakup. When you were with Ally you were happy and well in love. You were still in love with her but you blew it completely.
"Wow you didn't exaggerate" Ashley whispered to Jeremy "Well we wanted you to sing a duet with someone at our wedding!" she added with a smile. "Oh well maybe. Allys- Allison is gonna be at the wedding right?" you said.
They sighed and said "Well yeah but she's only taking the pictures." "She won't even be there really- Plus we heard she's been in really bad shape from well you know" Jeremy added.
"I'll do it I just wanted to know if she'd be there." ou said as they handed you two sheets of paper perfect harmony "Great so the highlighted parts are the parts you're singing, the underlined are the parts the two of you will sing together, and the other parts are hers. Sound good?" Jeremy said.
The lyrics were amazing. They almost made you smile. "Yeah sound's good" you said.
And after running through the song six times completely you left the building.
