Chapter 40: C.A.F

Ben and Allys apartment
Allys Pov

"happy birthday!" I said to Ben as he walked out of our bedroom. "Thank you, love." he said before he kissed me. "What do you want to do for your birthday today?" I asked while my hands traveled up to his neck. He smiled and said "I just want to hang out with my beautiful wife." I frowned at him and said "Ben, c'mon! This is the last birthday you're going to have-" "I'm not dying!" He said. I hit his shoulder and said "You didn't let me finish. This is the last birthday you're going to have before babygirl is born! You have to do something fun!" I said, putting a hand on my baby bump.

He smiled and said "Fine, but what about you." "Shut up. Meghan, Ashley, Kara, and I could hang out here while you, Jeremy, Corey, Kevin, Tommy, Andrew, and Scott could go to a bar and do whatever guys do." I said.

He started making some coffee and said "I'll do it then." I smiled and said "Yay! I'll go call the girls." Ben chuckled slightly as I walked into our bedroom. I called Meghan first. "Hey Meg! Bens birthday is today and I wanted him to do something since this is the last birthday he's gonna have before babygirl comes. So I was thinking what if he, Corey, and the rest of the guys go out?" I said. "Of course! We could hang out with the girls and I could take Elliot so you can practice for your baby. Tell Ben I said happy birthday for me." she said.

"Okay bye Meg!" The next person i called was Kara who also said yes to hanging out with the girls and I and Kevin hanging out with the guys. Last person I needed to call was Ashley. "hey Ash!" I said. "Hey Ally! What's up kiddo?" she said. "I was wondering if you and Jer were free tonight?" I said. "Yeah we're free. What do you have planned?" she asked me.

"Well this is the last birthday he's gonna have before the baby is born so I wanted him to do something with the guys." I said while drinking my decaf coffee that Ben made. "Oh well sounds fun!" she said. "Yeah! And I was thinking that you, the girls, and I could hang out at the apartment. Megs bringing Elliot so I could practice or something, and yeah that's it." I said. "We'll be there." she said.

"Okay thanks! See you guys later." "See you." she said.

A couple of hours later..

"Are you sure you want us to go?" Ben asked. "yes! Go, go I'm sick of you." I said, smiling at him. He laughed and said "I love you too bye." He and the guys walked out of the apartment. "So how you feeling?" Meg asked me while holding Elliot in her arms. "I'm fine." I said, smiling at them. "Really? When I was pregnant with this little one I was miserable. I was always exhausted. But it was worth it. Definitely worth it." she said.

I smiled and said "yeah I've been fine. I haven't really been tired, yet. The first trimester sucked though. I was always sick and it was hard having to hide it from everyone- especially you guys was definitely the hardest part. Especially after what happened with Samuel." Kara smiled softly and patted my back. Ashley smiled and said "I forgot to do this when Ben was here but i got you guys a little something for baby girl."

She handed me a little bag and said "open it!" I smiled and started opening it, "Oh my god! This is so cute!" I said, holding up the little onesie that said "future broadway actress" on it.

"Thank you!" I said to her. She hugged me and said "You're welcome!" Meg smiled at us and said "Have you and Ben thought about names for your future broadway actress?" while giggling. "We have three names in the run, we had two boy names that we really loved but she's a girl so we can't use them now." I said, rubbing my baby bump.

"ooh what names are you deciding on?" Kara asked while getting a drink from the fridge. "Well we're not telling anyone until baby girl is born but we have a middle name picked for our future broadway star." I said smiling. Kara laughed and said "I bet it's Kara." while giggling.
