Allison is Kara Lindsays younger sister and best friend. She meets a tall dark haired man with gorgeous green eyes. They start off as friends but it quickly escalates into something much more than just friends.

"Care, can you please please please put your shoes on?" I asked her. "Otay mommy." she said while walking over to get her shoes. "Thank you princess." I said. Ben walked in the room. "Hey babe, you two ready?" he asked. "As soon as this little girl gets her shoes on we'll be ready." I said. "I need help." Carolynn said. "I'll help you princess." Ben said, kneeling down to help Carolynn tie her shoes. Carolynn smiled, "Thank you dada." she said. Ben kissed her cheek and said, "You're welcome Care-bear."
I smiled at them, "C'mon let's go or we're going to be late to see your new baby brother or sister!" I said, taking Carolynns hand. Carolynn and I walked out of the room with Ben.
"Ben?" I said. "Yes darling?" he said, putting Carolynn in her car seat. "You forgot your mask." I said, trying not to laugh. "Dammit." he said. He walked back into the house. "Dada's silly." Carolynn said. "Yeah he's very silly right princess?" I said. She giggled, "Yeah." she said. Ben was walking back out with his mask this time. "Okay now we can go." Ben said as he got back into the car.
Today we were going to the O.B. for my seventh month appointment. -------- "Okay, that is one healthy baby." my O.B. said. "What's that?" Ben asked pointing at the screen. "Those are your babys fingers." the O.B, said. Ben looked confused, "Then why is there 11 of them?" he asked. I smiled, "That's not a finger." I said. "Oh, it's a boy!" he said.
I laughed, "I told you! You owe me thirty bucks now." I could tell Ben was smiling underneath his mask. "You excited about having a baby brother?" Ben asked Carolynn as he held her. "Yeah!" Carolynn said. -------
-THE NEXT DAY-
Carolynn wanted to have a 'princess tea party' so right now Ben and I were sitting at Carolynns small table which we were using for her 'Princess tea party'. "She has no idea what's about to happen." Ben said. "What do you mean, babe?" I asked. "She can't fully comprehend that you're pregnant and that she's getting a baby brother." Ben said, getting apple juice from the fridge. "She's very good at getting people to do what she asks. I mean you're wearing a literal princess crown because she asked." I said while giving Carolynn her crackers.
"Well how could I say no to that little face." Ben said while walking back over to us. He poured apple juice into each of our little tea cups that we got Carolynn for her birthday. "You can't." I said. "Exactly." Ben said. "Should we start thinking of names?" I asked. Ozzy was barking at the backyard door. "What is it bud?" I asked. "Ozzy?" Carolynn asked. "Yeah, what's Ozzy doing?" Ben asked. I got up and walked to the backyard door. "Ben?" I said. He looked over to me, "What is it Al?" he asked. "Did we get another dog?" I said. "Um, no." he said. "Then what's this little guy doing in our backyard?" I said.
Ben picked Carolynn up and walked over to the backyard door. "Puppy?" Carolynn said, looking out the window. "Yeah baby, that's a puppy." I said. "We should take it to a vet and see if there is some sort of tracking device in him- or her." Ben said. "Yeah we should do that." I said.
"Ooh, if we don't find it's owner can we keep him?" I asked Ben. He sighed, "Babe..." he said. "Please!" I said. "Maybe." he said. "Ah! Thank you!" I said, kissing him. He smiled into the kiss.
Ben opened the backyard door, letting the puppy in. He picked the puppy up, "Oh, he's a boy." Ben said. "We got a lot of little boys running around here." I said, petting the little dog. "and in about like- what? A month? We'll have another little guy running around." he said. "Except this little boy won't be a puppy." I said, putting a hand on my stomach.
"Cute." Carolynn said, looking at the puppy in Bens arms. "Yeah, he's very cute, princess." I said. "Okay we should go to the vet now to make sure he's okay." Ben said. "I'll get Carolynn dressed in regular clothes and don't forget your mask this time." I said. He laughed, "I won't." He kissed me softly. "Okay little girl, we gotta go upstairs and get you changed." I said, taking Carolynns hand. "Change?" she said. "Yeah! So we can go see if the puppy's okay." I said as we walked up the stairs. "I wike puppys." she said. "Oh, I do too, princess." I said. I could hear Ben laughing from downstairs.
I picked Carolynn up as we walked to her room. "Okay babe, what outfit do you wanna wear?" I said, putting up two outfits for her. "Uh, that one." she said pointing at her Queen shirt and jeans. "This is your favorite one, huh?" I said, changing her. "Yeah." she giggled. I got her dressed and then we went back downstairs. --------

The_Fankhausers Okay so... We found this little guy in our backyard yesterday. (isn't he adorable?) We took him to the vet and he's perfectly healthy. We looked around for any possible owners in our neighborhood but we didn't his owner. So now welcome Arlo Fankhauser!! Arlo and Ozzy are getting along great. Carolynn is absoulutely in love with him, and so are we!

"I can't believe we actually have another dog!" Ben said as we were getting into bed. "Me either." I said as Arlo and Ozzy jumped on our bed. Arlo jumped into my arms, "Hi buddy!" I said. Ben got in bed next to me. Ozzy jumped into his arms. "We really should let them pick out their own dog beds so they don't sleep with us." Ben said, petting Arlo and Ozzy. "But they're cute!" I said. "Yeah they're pretty damn cute." Ben said, kissing my temple.
