When I walk to my locker, I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I feel more eyes are on me. Maybe I shouldn't wear this outfit again. It does catch people's attention and I'm not comfortable with it.

As I arrive, I see Harley beside my locker, focusing on her phone. I smile widely before surprising her with a hug.

"Harley!"

"Hey, Ab- Oh my god, is this really Abby? You wear skirt at school? Where is my Abby? Give her back! Who are you?!" As expected from a drama girl.

"Cut it, drama girl. I just think that I want to try something new. So, yeah. Is it bad?"

"No, Abby. You look hot." She whispers a little.

We laugh at her comment.

"Wow, heartbreaks really change people. In a good way it is." She smiles a little.

I just smile at her statement and continue to take my book for my first class. It's maths. And it's the first time I don't feel excited for maths class. I need to face Ryan. Well, maybe I will just ignore him. Or maybe I shouldn't? I mean, I said to him that we were still friends though. Ugh, I don't know. I'll think about that later.

"You okay?" Harley says when she notices I've been quiet.

"Yes, totally. Want it or not, I'll still see him anywhere." I look at my book in my hands.

"Hey, don't make that face. You're beautiful today. Keep your chin up, princess."

I smile at her. Harley always knows how to comfort me. She has this sisterly behaviour and I'm really glad I have her. She's more than a bestfriend for me. She's like a real sister. I will never find someone as precious as her.

"Thank you." I say while pushing my locker door again to shut it before Harley stops me.

"Wait, you forgor your calculator. I know you're a genius but still calculator is essential." She hands me my yellow-wrapped calculator and I just shake my head.

I sit at my usual seat and my class is still empty. I look around and glad I'm early. I don't really appreciate the attention if I'm late and in this outfit.

Just when I'm about to get my books ready, I hear someone knocks on the door.

"Hye." Ryan says when I look at him.

I just nod and smile a little. He walks slowly towards my desk but I don't look at him. I just see it from the corner of my eyes. When he has arrived beside me, I decide that I can't. I can't focus if I do this. I need to change seat. I can't sit beside him.

I start to take my things to change my seat before he says, "No, it's okay. You can sit there. I will sit somewhere else if you want." He stands in front of me when I get up, showing that he doesn't allow me to change spot.

When he did that, I swear our faces are just inches away. We don't say anything. He looks at my eyes and I look at his. I personally can hear his breathing. I wonder if he can hear my thumping heart beats?

When I hear the bell rings and people's voices, I sit immediately and he looks away quickly. He brushes his neck again. He's nervous.

People start to fill up the class and I think Ryan takes a seat at the back since I hear Ben greets him.

I touch my heart. It didn't slow down. Just a look from him and I reacted like this. I should stop. He's someone else's.
