Let's Get Ugly

*Monday*

I don't like Mondays. I have a feeling that today is going to be a really bad Monday after all that happened over the weekend with the picture on twitter and everything.

When Jay gave me a hug Max took a picture and put that on twitter too which also ended up on Facebook thanks to Ruth. Everyone I know will be asking questions. I suppose I'm going to have to explain everything like I should have done when I found out.

"Bye Mum" I shouted as I went out of the door. She didn't reply but that didn't surprise me. Then I began the long and cold walk to school. I was wearing my uniform and then a coat, scarf, hat and gloves and I was still cold!

It took me about forty minutes to walk to school and when I got there everyone was talking about the pictures. I had a lot of explaining to do.

"MEGAN!" Beth screamed at me "NATHAN SYKES KISSED YOU AND JAY MCGUINESS HUGGED YOU! WHAT IS GOING ON!?" Beth is a very big fan of The Wanted especially Tom Parker and was amazed by what she had seen.

"Well erm... It's complicated" I said not really wanting to explain "TELL ME!" She screamed in excitement.

"Ok ay well the person who I have been told for fifteen years is my dad, is not my dad and my real dad is also the father of Jay McGuiness and Tom McGuiness" I explained

"Your lying" she replied not believing a word I had just said

"I'm not lying Beth I wouldn't lie about something like that." I said. Family is important and I would never make up lies about my family unless it was to protect them.

"Wow" she replied shocked by what she had just heard.

"So you believe me?' I asked, hoping that she did.

"Yes.' She said "But how did you meet the rest of the boys and why did Nathan kiss you?"

"Well I was at my dad's house to see my step mum and brothers again to try and get to know them and Jay was refusing to come and see me. Tom then went upstairs to try and get him to come and see me but the others were up there so he wouldn't come down. Then later Jay came downstairs and into the kitchen where we were followed by the others..." I started

"Wait who are the others" Bede asked, listening in to our conversation like everyone else around us

"The rest of The Wanted" I replied, I thought it was obvious but obviously not.

"Oh" Bede said, now understanding who they were

"Anyway" I continued "Jay ignored me and got drinks for the others but then Max came and said hi to me and then Nathan came and said hi to me and told me that Jay was being an idiot by ignoring me and kissed me on the cheek. So yeah that was my weekend ..." Everyone's jaws had dropped in amazement

"Wow" Bede said "You are the luckiest girl in the world" I laughed

"I only met The Wanted and got hugged by all of them and kissed by Nathan Sykes" I said not wanting to make it sound like a big thing even though I knew it was.

"ONLY!" Beth screamed "YOU GOT HUGGED BY EVERY MEMBER OF THE WANTED AND KISSED BY ONE OF THEM! THAT IS A BIG THING!" Okay so it was quite a big thing.

I was so glad when the day had finished, in every lesson people had been talking to me about it and constantly asking me questions. Even people who didn't even acknowledge my existence had been talking to me!

I went back to my form room to get some books from my locker, when my phone rang. It was Jay.

"Hey Jay" I said "You okay?" When I said Jay everyone in the room went quiet because that all knew who it was.

"Yeah are you okay? I've been trying to call you all day and you never answered!" Jay said sounding worried

"Yeah, I'm fine Jay and I'm at school so no I haven't been answering your calls" I replied

"Oh yeah I forgot you were still at school. Anyway I was wondering do you want to come and watch a few of our gigs at the weekend?" Jay asked

"YES PLEASE!" I shouted down the phone, making everyone look at me again which made me go red

"Hahaha ok see you on Saturday we'll pick you up at about 7!" Jay replied laughing

"Wait 7?" I asked "As in 7 in the morning?"

"Yeah" he said "Is that okay?"

"Yeah I suppose but don't expect me to say much at that time in the morning" I replied, I am not a good morning person.

"Haha okay see you then" he replied about to hang up

"Wait a minute Nathan wants to talk to you"

"Hey Nathan" I said. Then Beth looked at me and screamed. I laughed

"Hey" he replied "Who was that?"

"That was my friend Beth" I replied

"Ohh" he replied "Is she a Nayfan?" He asked

"No she'd have a Tomtrum if I said she was" I replied smiling at Beth, she knew exactly what I was talking about and started laughing

"Ohh she likes Tom..." He said understanding that Tom was her favourite

"Yeah" I replied "So what did you want to talk to me for?"

"Oh I wanted to do an impression of your reaction when Jay asked you to come to gigs with us" Nathan replied

"Go on then" I said, this could be interesting "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" He shouted down the phone

"Hahaha" I replied sarcastically

"Bye Nathan, give JayBird a hug for me"

"Okay" he replied "See ya on Siva Saturday!" He said and hung up.

When I came off of the phone everyone was just looking at me with their mouths wide open "What?' I asked "I was only talking to my brother and his friend" and walked out of the room.
