"Be at ease, they won't find us down here."
Sonju turned to the children behind him, reassuring them as I hummed a tune

Its been a day since we escaped from GraceField plantations and, I'm really starting to get the hang of it. Sonju was really cool enough to let me hold that big spear of his, as I tried to play with it, before he took it back, whilst seeing my irked response after.

Mujika was really nice too, I really wanna hang out with her more, just like Emma did, y'know, to get on her good side.

Catching up on the conversation the kids were having with our new found demon friends, my ears perked up
"Mujika do you live with your friends, in this forest?"
Alicia asked Mujika who in turn replied

"Oh, not live, we're just passing through. We travel through various lands, never stopping anywhere."
She explained as I turned my disinterested eyes to the older ones who just received the information from Emma, particularly Don, Gilda, Nat and Anna

Walking up to them I caught on to their conversation as I found them all, visibly confused and bewildered
"But.. Sonju said that we were on Earth.. but not on the human world.. What does that mean?"
Nat asked as Anna mumbled

"The world.. was split?"

"Yup, you're right! Don't worry, we'll definitely get to go to the human world, once we acquire the specific set of right given information."
I piped in as they all turn their heads towards me

"And that is?"
Anna asked curiously as I shrugged

"Well I don't know, but what I do know is that, one, the world was and has already been like this for a thousand years ago. Two, they made a contract with the devil, sealed it, and boom!- they split the world in two. And three, well... we do know that there could be pathways that are still active and might lead us to the human world.? Right? Emma?"
I explained to her as she nodded before I gave a questioning look at Emma who added in

"That's right (Y/N), Sonju did say things like 'the pathway was shut down'... and 'the door was closed'. It sounds like there were places they could go in the past but cannot anymore."

"If that's true, then we live in the world promised to the demons.. we've been cut apart."
Putting his hand on his chin, Don thought for a while before Emma said

"That's why pur final goal is- to escape from this world itself!"
Emma declared as Anna added in

"And Minerva is someone who probably knows how to do that.."

"That's what we think, yes."
Emma nodded at her as I shrugged my shoulders, walking ahead of them before muttering

"That's what you think.."
I caught up with Ray who was bickering with Thoma and Lani

"Ooohh~ reaally now Ray?"
Lani cooed as I raised my eyebrow

"Woah, woahhhh- what is this about?"
I chuckled looking at Ray who was glaring daggers at the two mischievous little boys as they smirked at him in return

"Nothing, they were just being little brats, that's all."
He gritted his teeth as Lani stifled out a laugh before Thoma joined in

"Huh..."
I suspiciously peered at Ray

"Is there something on my face?"
He finally broke the silence as I shook my head before walking normally again

"What did you guys-"

"It's nothing."
He cut me off as I folded my arms

"Fine, if you don't wanna tell me then don't tell me-"
My sentence was cut off as I heard Gilda's shouts exho from the passageway
