A.N: This is a very rough draft, sorry for any mistakes. I was just listening to RM of BTS' song Reflection **check it out if you haven't listened to it, yet.** when I felt the urge to write. Also, it's the first I have tried to write in years so... here goes nothing.
Kiss of Revenge Ch. 19.5: Fairy tale Kiss
RB's POV:
Admit it, once in your life you wish you could go back, change a thing in your life and be happier. It's as if our now is not what we're supposed to have if we did not make that one decision. Or in my case, if I had made my decision sooner... if I just run back faster before he left... I could've been happier or so I thought.
I hear the thud of my shoes on the tiled floor of the hospital as I run. It's too white and the smell is sterile. Ako lang ba may ayaw sa ospital?
I am running out of breath and my heart is still sinking. Yung pakiramdam na you're in a dark place and you're falling but you hadn't reached the ground yet. You're falling but you've not yet fallen. You're still you and you're still whole for the mean time.
[Charles is in a state of coma.]
My heart had been sinking since I received that text message from Cassandra 2 hours ago. I tried calling her but she's not answering. Binigay niya lang ang address ng ospital na pinagdalan ni Charles together with that message. That bitch!
"Charles De Guzman?" I breathlessly asked the nurse sa front desk.
"I am sorry miss, pero tapos na ang visiting hours. Bumalik na lang po kayo bukas."
No. NO. NO! Mag-isip ka RB. You must get to him before it's too late. Sino ba kasing nagpapunta sa'yo dito?!
"Cassandra!"
Nagulat yung nurse sa harap ko nung napasigaw ako.
"Cassandra, tinext nya ko at alam nya na makakarating ako dito nang ilang oras. I am Charles' RB. If that make sense. I need to see him miss." I stammered desperately.
"RB?" she asked with recognition on her face.
"Kilala mo 'ko?" tanong ko sa kanya.
"Hindi. May.." tumayo siya at lumapit sa'kin nang bahagya. "Sabi ni Dra. Clemente na papasukin kung sino mang RB ang pupunta dito na maghahanap kay Mr. De Guzman." Pabulong niyang sabi.
"So... I can see him now?" pabulong ko ring tanong.
"Pa- log na lang po."
I bid to her orders, tapos tinuro na niya yung kwarto ni Charles.
